It’s been four years since I ran away—from home, my brother, and my maybe father. I created a life free of expectations while pretending I wasn’t being hunted by all of the above. I managed to stay under the radar all this time… or so I thought. When big brother shows up and saves my ass, I’m forced to face everything I left behind, including her.

It’s been four years since I became another statistic. I made a lot of mistakes when it came to Keenan Masters. The first was loving him at all. He took something from me the night he left, and when I told him I still loved him, he told me he’d always hate me. After that, I learned how to be okay… until he came back. Gone was the boy who always knew how to make me laugh, and in his place was a cold, arrogant monster.

From the get go it is action packed! The 4 years have changed both Keenan & Sheldon..Keenan isnt the boy you read about 1 or 2. Sheldon no longer lets anyone walk over her.

Still has the same characters from the other books!

This book is amazing you think you got it all worked out but you dont lol

Oh my goodness - Keenan! Where did that man go that we met in the first 2 books?!?!
In his place is this beast of a man who is hard and rough and takes absolutely no prisoners!
Sheldon Sheldon Sheldon - you have no idea of what you are walking back into - he is not that man you knew and loved!
This Book was such a hard read - but in the best way possible! Its tough and gritty and there are parts in this book that will make you absolutely wild with anger and despair! But this Book is EVERYTHING!
It will take you on the most angst ridden journey ever!
You thought Kieran and Lake were crazy...wait till you meet Keenan now!
This can't even!
Too good! Must read! Best Series! Love Love Love!
5+ STARS and then some!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a fantastic follow up to Fear You and the 3rd book in the series by B.B. Reid. This book takes place a few years after the last. In Fear Us, Keenan takes center stage as we get to know why he left as well as a sneak peek into his past. Truths will be revealed and another piece of the Master's family puzzle will put together. What I loved was the growth of the Keenan's character. He never loses his identity. He's still Keenan, the same guy whose arrogant, sexy and a smart mouth with more maturity and edge. I also love that Sheldon was a little stronger in this one as well. Sure she will always fall for Keenan's charm but that's what happens when you are meant to be. And these two characters have strong ties that keep them bound together. In this book, Keenan comes back to deal with his feelings for Sheldon, his love/hate relationship with his brother Keiran and daughter who he didn't even know he had. If you had any doubt about Keenan, you won't after this one. He will make your heart flutter and panties drop. I love that B.B. brought back the rest of the gang (Keiran,Lake and Dash) without over shadowing Keenan and Sheldon's story. There's plenty of drama going on and so many questions like who are these people who are after the Master's? Is it for revenge? Who took Kennedy and why? Why do I still hate and not trust Di? Where's Willow? These are all things that I can't wait to find out in this continuing series. If you loved the first two books you will love this one. Bebe does not disappoint! She is an amazing writer whose writing is fresh, sexy and suspenseful, which keeps me wanting more. If you want an edge of your seat page turner, then this is the series for you. I highly recommend it.

I'm not saying I didn't like this book, because I did, I liked Keenan in the first two books but this one I found him to be more abusive than scary.... that shower scene WTF ... Sheldon I really liked and still do... Keenan was so hell bent on punishing Sheldon ... he seemed to forget about Kennedy... But I still found things to like about this book a great addition.. Keenan redeems himself which I liked ... now onto Dash

First off, I have to say that B.B. Reid is one of my favorite authors. Her characters are sexy, heartbreaking and so damn frustrating! I can't get enough! I've re-read "Fear Me/Fear You" about 4 times now. It's what I pick back up when I'm in a book rut or just need a Kieran fix. Solid 10 star books!
With this book, I LOVED the beginning. I thought the way Keenan manifested in to his character was 100% on the mark. I know a lot of readers didn't like it, but he was brilliantly written! From what we saw of him in the end of the previous book, to what we see now 4 years later, was exactly right. The same goes for Sheldon. I devoured ever written word.
But sadly, this is not a book I could read over and over again.
I'll explain why...

****This next part of my review may contain SPOILERS****

My issues with this book came when, even at 70%, there was no character development. The hatred, the drama, the bad decisions...nothing seemed to be moving forward. It became a little repetitive.
Keenan: "I HATE YOU!"
Sheldon: " I HATE YOU BACK!"
Keenan: "YOU BROKE ME!"
Sheldon: "YOU BROKE ME TOO!"
Multiply that by 2,000 and that's what you get until 97% of the way through. It was dragged out way too long for my taste. I was over them. Giving me 3% of HEA, wasn't enough to convince me they were solid again, especially for marriage. At one point, Sheldon was upset that Keenan had finally given into her demands of leaving them alone, even though she told him to do exactly that.
I also felt that, even though 4 years had passed, they were just as immature as they were in high school. The immature name calling, the yelling, the sulking, the "I'm going to say hurtful things because you did". Ugh. It all became tiresome.
The fact that Sheldon didn't mention the guy she was dating while they were desperately trying to find Kennedy was pure stupidity. Trust me, if it came to finding my own young daughter, I wouldn't leave anything or anyone out. To think he never knew she existed after a whole year of dating was stupid too. Did she take her car seat/booster seat out of the back of her car everyday? Yeah, cause that's something every mom does, EVERYDAY, right? Those things are a pain in the neck to move. Especially with the latch system. Maybe I'm being a little picky, but being a mom of the same age of so of Kennedy, it's something I noticed right away. Even though he may not have had anything to do with Kennedy's disappearance, the fact that she debated in her head about keeping HIM safe was lame.
Which brings me to:
How the heck was Sheldon not on bc? With as much sex as her and Keenan were having, she should have at least been on the pill/shot. I was really scratching my head over that one. With all the unplanned quickies going on all over the place in books 1&2, I had a hard time believing he was always meant to have a condom.
Speaking of which:
I couldn't connect with the fact that Keenan didn't have sex for the entire 4 years they were apart. Really? With him, I found this completely unbelievable. It would have made more sense not being able to perform without thinking of her, or closing his eyes, or...whatever else. I didn't find that plausible at all.

Overall, there were too many things that left me scratching or shaking my head. I was a little disappointed with this story. Just little though...

Oh! One SMALL small thing..
The fact that Kieran went to college for computer science? It was such a left field thing to through in. It's not that big of a deal, but...Really? I guess I'm just biased towards him. He is by far, my #1 book boyfriend on the planet. I thought for sure military intelligence or setting up his own security company with all the inheritance money. His skills are just too cool to throw away. I'm hoping something awesome develops there.
I LOVED the small bits of him and Lake! I'm so happy they were added in!

I'm EAGERLY awaiting Willow and Dash's story! I seriously can't get enough of these books! Well done, Ms. Reid!!!! Oh, how I love them!! You are beyond talented!

I wanted to give it more stars, but Keenan did things I just couldn't forgive. If you read the first two books you know Keenan cheated on Sheldon multiple times, well in my opinion once a cheater always a cheater. His excuses were weak to say the least and I don't buy um. He burnt her because she for once had a backbone( for a little while anyway.)and left his cheating butt. On to my next problem,Sheldon was completely spineless and just a accepted his abuse and philandering. When her child was missing she was more worried about Getting it on with Keenan than her child. So I couldn't like her. Finally the murder in the tattoo shop was completely unnecessary and cold blooded and didn't need to happen.

2.0 out of 5 stars Once he traps her in the shower after he methodically (psychotically and premeditated) changes the heat dial to stay on super ho 16 October 2015

Ok, so I know the story and what I signed up for...but it is NEVER OK to romanticize physical abuse. I get it that the author is playing with edgy themes, and I am OK with aggressive (consensual) sex. What I am not OK with is actual physical abuse (as opposed to mere threats that are never carried out). There are 2 times in this book where the H hurts the h to the point where she passes out. Once he traps her in the shower after he methodically (psychotically and premeditated) changes the heat dial to stay on super hot. The h is the hell is this ever allowed in a romance?!?! Second, the H dangles the h over the ledge of a penthouse apartment balcony with only one hand holding her. Again, ewww. There is no recognition that he is physically abusive and certainly no growth. Just, I'm an F'ed up male, I love you, you love me, I'm forgiven everything. Ewwww.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping. Enthralling. Completely gritty and downright dark. 23 September 2015

Fear Us is a no holds barred novel. Did you get that? Again, NO HOLDS BARRED!! If you believe in sunshine, rainbows and unicorns this is not the novel for you. Keenan will not only push your limits but test them as well while showing you that even when the sun is shining, a shadow of darkness can be casted.

This novel jumps time, taking us four years into the future. A future where Sheldon is still trying to get over her past she had with Keenan. She's moving on with her life, finishing up her last year of college, so of course seeing Keenan again was the last thing she expected.

Especially when he comes back with only one objective. Get his clutches back in her or ruin her while trying.

Keenan has been a broken, tortured man every since that night four years ago when he left town. Drowning in the blackness covering his heart, he doesn't care about anyone or anything any longer. No one but Shelly, even though he'd rather not. When a situation arises that sends him back a whole new game of cat and mouse will ensue.

Where Sheldon is very stubborn and pushes Keenan at every turn, Keenan is set in his ways and will not show her any mercy. I mean seriously, he was not messing around!! At one point I was like "Freaking, Sheldon! Listen to HIM!!," legit screaming at my kindle as an attempt to save her from his wrath.

Fear Us will eat away at your soul as the angst in this novel coils itself tightly around your neck. From that note in the beginning written by B.B to Keenan that without a doubt destroyed a piece of me, until the very last page is a journey. One that will break your heart at times, steal your breath at others, and twist your gut into a big ball of anxiety from one scene to the next. I didn't know if he would make it back to us, and for awhile I felt he was too lost to ever come back, but he found himself and in doing so found his happily ever after. Add in those steamy moments and B.B continues to light that match that sets your ovaries on fire.

Gripping. Enthralling. Completely gritty and downright dark. B.B. Reid keeps you on the precipice, biting your nails in anticipation as your heart beats right out of your chest in fear.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot, thrilling, emotional story 22 September 2015

BB Reid knocks it out of the park once again with the third book in the Broken Love series. Fear Us was a captivating and thrilling story that kept me hanging on every word. Keenan and Sheldon's relationship intrigued me from when we were first introduced to them in Fear Me. I knew there were layers to them as individuals and as a couple that we had yet to discover, and couldn't wait to delve into them.

Four years have passed from the time Fear You ended, and all of the characters are at a different place in their lives. Both Keenan and Sheldon have gone through things that have changed them as individuals, and they are not the same people they were when they were a teenaged couple. I have to admit, there were times when Keenan really scared me in his intensity. I loved him, then I hated him, then I loved him again. The author is so talented at pushing boundaries in a way that is real and believable, and at having her characters step so close to the edge that you are afraid they will fall over and past the point of redemption. A couple of times during this story I was worried that Keenan would reach this point, but thankfully, he managed not to. And Sheldon, I absolutely loved her character. She was witty, intelligent, and strong when she needed to be. The push and pull between the two of them was riveting, sexy, and at times flat-out scary. You never knew when something was going to trigger a reaction with Keenan, and that was what made the book so captivating. The love-hate relationship between them served as the fuel for some pretty intense and seriously sexy love scenes. One thing that hadn't changed between them was the smoking hot chemistry.

The angst, oh the angst, it was so intense throughout the story. There were things Keenan had done in the past that I hated, but in true BB Reid fashion, she revealed the reasoning behind these actions in a way that made complete sense. I felt for Sheldon, I felt for Keenan, and I understood the place of hurt that the both of them were coming from. I just wanted them to work it out and find peace with each other, and as a family.

The ending of this book was perfect for this imperfect couple and I absolutely loved it. There is a scene near the very end that had me in tears, it was so perfect. And as with the previous two books in the series, the interactions with the supporting characters was as engaging as the interaction between the two main characters. I love each and every member of this group of friends, and I especially love their loyalty to each other. All is not settled among the group however. There are still some lingering questions that need to be answered, and I can't wait until all of the truths are revealed. I am so looking forward to Dash and Willow's book, which is sure to be another epic story.
