Product Description

Product Description

This isn't another "I hate you because I secretly love you" story...
...Boy really does hate girl.
And this isn't just a forbidden love story.
This is obsession at its darkest.

I don't believe in fairy tales and Prince Charming.

I believe in fear.

He taught me how to be afraid.

We first met on a playground on a wonderful summer day. It was the first time he hurt me and it wouldn't be the last. For ten years, he's been my tormentor and I've been his forbidden. But then he went away, and yet I was still afraid.

Now he's back and wants more than just my tears. You see...he thinks I sent him away so now he wants revenge...and he knows just how to get it.

PLEASE READ THE WARNINGS: This book is a new adult and contains rough elements such as harsh language, mild violence, strong sexual content, alpha male, antihero, blackmail, and dubious consent.

Fear Me, in all, contains sensitive themes many people aren't able to swallow.

I'm not normally a fan of YA/NA romance but i loved the description and after a friend recommended it to me, i admit i was intrigued. Lake and Keiran share a history, he hates her, and is determined to get is revenge on her. Lake just wants to be left alone, she knows Keiran hates her and that she should stay away from him but Keiran's having none of that. Playing mind games and using blackmail to get what he wants, he is ruthless and a bully, not to mention obsessed with Lake. Now saying that, deep down i don't think he's as bad as he thinks he is. He is definitely a complex man with a lot of anger and secrets and poor Lake is falling for him even though he continues to mess with her head. When Keiran's past comes back and blows his world apart, will Lake stand by him? The ending of this book was brilliant. Truthfully part of the reason i read this is because i love a cliffhanger and this one definitely delivered. I loved both main characters (even when i wanted to slap them) and even their friends ended up been likeable, in their own messed up way. I can't wait for the next book, not just to find out what Keirans going to do to Lake next but also because i'm dying to see what happens between Dash and Willow. Really good enjoyable book that kept me guessing. Will definitely be on the look out for more from this author

I'm not usually a fan of YA but this one was the exception with their being a dark subject matter behind the pretence of the everyday normalcy of college life...

Fear Me (book 1 in the Broken Love series) by B B Reid is full of suspense, angst, conflicting emotions and the tangled tale of Lake Monroe and Kieran Masters. This book kept me on edge throughout reading. The tale of the damaged boy and bullied girl evolving to master manipulator and feisty female with THAT ending that left you reeling with more questions than answers and panting for breath after such dramatic revelations and emotional highs and lows in the final 30 pages!!!

It has an anti hero you love to hate, a heroine you instantly warm to and a cast of characters you want in your life. It has to be read to be understood as to explain more would spoil the way B B Reid slowly and cryptically reveals truths to you. Thankfully book 2 Fear You is out in a matter of days!!

Well holy hell! What a way to start a series. I haven't been so mad and turned on in my life. (hehe) Seriously though, this book defiantly took me by surprise, and it was a great surprise. Now I do enjoy dark books, and I fell in love with all the main characters, but with that being said this book isn't for everybody. The story line was intriguing and kept me turning the pages, I found myself really not wanting this book to end. You may think that you have read stories like this before, but really you haven't. This story is dark and has some really messed up scenes, and you will find yourself not being able to hold back from seeing what it all leads up to in the end. It is an awesome read, and I highly recommend it! I cant wait for "Fear You" to come out next to see what happens!

It feels wrong to say that I enjoyed this book .... but I did,

This book had me feeling like I was having an anxiety attack... for most of the book I was worrying about Lake .... really disliking Keiran
but then half way you could glimpse a less evil side of Keiren and I thought that there was something wrong with Lake as she never complained about anything that he did to her .... weird....
But then she started to get a slight back bone .... I will be reading
the rest of the series as I really need to read more and get an insight to Keiran

From the first page, I couldn't put the book down. The story line was out of this world! I've never read anything like this book and I freaking LOVED it! I loved all the characters, especially dick dizzy Kieran! I loved him and Lake, I loved the chemistry and the history. And all the while everything was playing out I was thinking to myself, 'I can't possibly like him this much with what he is going' but I did. AND THE ENDING!! I can't wait to dive into Fear Us. Amazing writing, definitely a big fan of Bebe!
