Sam and Nick are back and seriously better than ever, a home invasion that may be more than it seems or could it be something fairly simple, Freddie and Elin are about to walk down the aisle of marriage, Gonzo is spiraling way out of control and Christina has finally reached the end of her rope or has she can love really conquer all or are some hills insurmountable?
I am always excited for the next Sam and Nick story, release day is always a day where the world stops so I can dive straight into the story and Fatal Invasion was worth the wait and so much more.
This book was an emotional rollercoaster where one minute I was caught up in the tragedy of loss to laughing out loud at an encounter Sam has with her nemesis Sgt Ramsey. I can't wait for the next Fatal installment!
Thank you for making Sam and Nick’s life so real.
You get involved with all the characters and when you start a book you can’t put it down until you have finished.

A house in an affluent and exclusive neighbourhood is brutally invaded and half of it is burnt out. Two bound, tortured and murdered adults are found. Traumatised twins are also found in a closet in the part not burnt.
At the same time Nick is getting ready to go on a trip to Europe for three weeks with an appointment to see the Queen of England. With a little negotiation this time is reduced to one week. But will Sam go with him?
With sympathy and as a licenced foster carer Sam offers to take these small children into her own home, overriding police and social service procedures and the conflict of interest as she investigating their parents death. Nevertheless, very quickly Sam, Nick, Scotty and their extended family are invested and actually want to keep them. Sam fights to keep the twins and keep them safe as they can identify the killer's and more importantly their own relatives are not interested in taking them in. But long term, what will happen to them?
The wedding of Freddie (Sam's work partner) and Elin takes place at the Navel Observatory the traditional home of the Vice President. Sam is the Groom's best man-woman and Nick is one of the Groomsmen and a host.
Would highly recommend.
I always look forward to a new fatal edition coming out, as always well written.
I literally can not wait for the next one
