i am a Amanda Flower fan and that was why i tried this new book. I am hooked i liked it as much as the other series she has. Well written, amazing characters who are human . Very hard to go back home after being away for so long and it shows all the problems she goes up against and also the friendships she continues. Cannot wait to see how she developes these characters over the next few books. She kept my attention and for once i did not guess the killer

Looks like a good beginning for a new cozy series by one of my fave authors

I really enjoyed this new series kickoff book and the various characters in the small town of Cherry Glen. I think Quinn's daughter Hazel was my favorite, Shiloh's dad despite his being a little grumpy kind of grew on me, but her cousin Stacey needs to grow on me a little more. I liked the little side mystery that Shiloh found that appears to be an ongoing thing for the next book.
I wasn't exactly sure who the killer was until nearly the end. The showdown was a good one, and I liked how everything was wrapped up and explained. I've found I like everything I've read so far that Amanda Flowers writes, and I think she's got a winner in this series!

An interesting new series

This was an interesting start to a new series. There is a lot going on in this first book, we have tons of backstory, which is necessary, and I think will set up a wonderful series. I did find it a little lacking in details of now. We get the mystery and some good red herrings but sometimes I could not figure out where our heroine was going, what was she going to actually do to save the farm, why not try to figure out what the actual situation was. We did some conclusions in the end but there were several things left up in the air so I really hope we get book two soon!!!

Disappointed

I have read and enjoyed most of this authors books. But this one I just didn't like. The main character. No one likes her even her father was upset with her. Also her cousin and the town. And spoiler alert even one of the few friends of hers ends up involved. Not at all cozy she is 38 and a Hollywood producer and comes home and is a wimp. Sorry not my style. Won't read the next one.

Back to the farm

Loss can make life change and not in a good way. Shiloh left the farm and went to Los Angeles where she spent years escaping the pain of loss. Now her father needs her and she must return home. She was definitely not prepared for what she found.
This is a great story and I so hope there will be more.
