Product Description

It was supposed to be a one-night stand with a bad boy in a place where nobody knew his name.

Evan just wants some excitement before he puts his heart on a shelf in a deep, dark closet. He finds that excitement in a gorgeous biker called Cop he meets on the road while he's reluctantly moving back to his hometown. Once he's settled in, he discovers what a small world it really is. The sexy stranger whose kiss he can still taste after that one, reckless night is a well-known figure there with a reputation for breaking hearts and breaking rules.

And he's not about to let Evan pretend it wasn't the best night of his life.

Falling Together is a stand-alone gay romance novel with dated fashion, rotten names, and a completely happy ending.

This was fun. I liked the good balance of sweet and sexy. I liked the pacing - once I started I didn't end up putting it down. There was nice variety in the sex scenes and it was great to see safe sex practiced in erotica.

There were a few things I think could have been improved. I did not find Cop's dirty talk in the bar the least bit sexy. Evan's anxiety seemed very extreme, to the point where I was starting to find it difficult to sympathize with him. I think something in his backstory to explain why it was *that bad* might have helped - it felt like that element was missing. I kept expecting Sam to turn back up again. I can't help but feel disappointed that he didn't, and that there wasn't a chance for Evan to show him just what he was missing out on. Given that both Cop and Sam were a bit more inclined to getting around than Evan I didn't really understand why that wasn't a bigger issue - it would have sense for Evan, having so recently suffered heartbreak, to be fearful of it happening again. The beginning of the story, detailing why Sam and Evan broke up seemed to be setting this up. Then it was just let drop and a whole new issue raised and run with for the rest of the narrative. It felt like squashing two separate stories together rather than a single narrative.

Edit for clarity: I understand Sam cited Evan's unwillingness to go out as reason for his cheating. But, to me, the cheating confused the issue and overshadowed the fact that Evan clearly has some serious (and unexplained) hang ups. (Not that that makes cheating acceptable). The fact that Sam and Evan broke up because Sam cheated steered my expectations in a certain direction. When the issue of cheating never arose again it made the beginning feel disparate from the rest of the story.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful, beautiful story. 6 January 2017

This was such a pleasure to read. It is one of the most beautiful stories I've read. Fate, kismet, karma, the alignment of the stars; whatever influences intervened, Evan and Cop found their soul mate in one another.
There were times I wanted to shake Evan and drive home the universal truth that it does not matter what other's opinions are of how you live your life or who you love. The only thing that matters is your happiness with that person you love.
Cop was a man who lived his life true to who he was. Unafraid, centered and sure of himself. He seemed tough on the outstanding but gave unconditional loyalty and love to those he cared for. He was a charismatic and compelling character.
These two were at the right place at the right time. Their HEA was meant to be.
And, the cover of this wonderful love story was beautiful. They Were Evan and Cop!
A must read love story.

when his boyfriend leaves him for being boring, Evan heads back to his home town, only to run into his future in a all diner. Firmly in the closet, it takes awhile for Evan to figure it out. A deliciously fun coming out into love story.
