Loved this book. My first book by Kate Hardy.

When Sammy is asked to take pictures for a calendar which will help benefit children she's on board.
Little does she know when the man she will be taking pictures of will be much more then a man in the calendar. He's Nick Kennedy aka Mr. December.

Nick Kennedy can't believe his sister asked to pose in some calendar, but it's for a good cause. So he does it. When he meets the photographer he's pretty stunned, and falls fast.

Nick and Sammy are workaholics. Something they have in common. So will love blossom between these two? She's hiding something and he knows it.. Not knowing what that could be he doesn't pressure her.

Sammy wants to tell him, but what if he leaves her? Can she trust him?

Very touching story. I loved that the characters occupation was different from most stories I have read. Sammy and Nick were meant for each other the moment they met. Love a man who would do anything for there family even when it's pushing there comfort zone. Both families had something in common without Nick knowing. Nick is a character that is loving, caring, smart and spontaneous. I was so happy on how he set up a dinner that Sammy would never forget. Sammy was independent, strong and pushed her limits. Two characters who both got hurt by loved ones get a second chance at love. Great book to help families with ways of helping there love one with cancer and the possibility that everyone can help by donating there hair for a great cause. Related with this story because my grandma had cancer and saw her deteriorating right before my eyes. Wish I was able to do more.

When Sammy and Nick meet there is an instant attraction that neither want to accept. Sammy has a date rule as she is keeping a secret that she feels is a good enough reason to not get serious. What neither figure on is the fact that fate has other plans at times. You will laugh and feel sad but also smile. I do not want to give away any more of the story I hope everyone reads it. This is such a lovely story of how love can conquer everything and Nick is someone every one of us romantics would love to keep. What he does to prove his love gives you a big ahhhhh. Curl up with this book and follow these two as they discover each other and the depth of true love. Wonderful book.
