4.0 out of 5 stars But this will not be an easy journey for Heather and Uri as a darker force ... 5 August 2016

This is the first book by Anne Conley that I have read and it certainly won't be the last....
Uriel is a totally swoon worthy Arcangel sent to earth to help his latest assignment....Heaven.
Heaven (not her real name) is a woman who thanks to the unfortunate hand life has delt her is working as a stripper to help pay the bills while she cares for her sick mother. She has a twin sister who is a drug addict so she doesn't get the help she needs there, she is on her own in it until one night a stranger enters the club that will change her (and in the process his own) life forever.
But this will not be an easy journey for Heather and Uri as a darker force has other ideas for Heather....this story puts a whole new spin on good vs evil that will have you guessing at what may happen next in this unpredictable story.
Can't wait to read the next story in this series 😊

5.0 out of 5 stars Another amazing story from an amazing author! 18 September 2013

The story of Uriel, the Archangel of Destiny, one of God's favorites. He's sent on "assignment" to earth once again, but isn't given any clues as to what his assignment is this time. Usually The Boss lets him know what destiny his mark is supposed to achieve, but this time he finds himself in a strip club. What in the world could The Boss have to show him here? This is where he meets his mark, Heaven (her stage name of course, real name Heather).
Uri is drawn to her immediately, and she to him. Unlike some of the strippers who break the rules that Mama (the owner) has set, Heather isn't into drugs, performing "extra favors" for clients or even dating them outside of work. She's a good girl doing what she has to do to take care of her family. Her drug addicted twin, Tiffany, and her mother who has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. She works to pay for her mother to be in a home and rent for her sister so she isn't homeless. Plus taking care of all her own bills.
Uri struggles with what The Boss tells him about this assignment because being the Archangel of Destiny is all he's ever known. And of course the Deceiver shows up to try and take Heather as his own. Since The Boss won't let him have anything good... he wants Heather because she is good.
It's a great story about who you are destined to be. Really you have to read it! Uri is sweet and just *swoon*! And yes, while Uri is an angel the story isn't preachy about anything religious... it's a love story.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great love story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this Four Winds Series 4 March 2016
By KERRI J MOSHER - Published on Amazon.com

So let me start out by saying I read all of the four Winds Series. I live all of them but if I had to choose what one I like the most it would be Saving Grace. I am not really sure what made that one my favorite but it was. Maybe something to do with Grace, I think I liked her charter the best out of the woman.

All of these books have some sexual content. I wouldn't let my minor children read these but that is me. This was a series that I had to just keep reading and there were very few nights that I was unable to read because of being to tiered. If you like romance stories you will love this series. I am not going to give any spoilers away.

I subscribed to unlimited Kindle and downloaded the whole series on my kindle. This review is my honest and unbiased review.
4.0 out of 5 stars The two are supposed to fall in love however Damien (the Deceiver) has other plans and wants ... 8 February 2015

I normally do not read books that are paranormal however this book/series captured me.

This is Heather and Uri’s story. Heather was a stripper, working to pay her bills and help support her mom. Uriel is one of God’s archangels – the Archangel of Destiny. Uriel has an assignment, which was Heather, however little did he know the Boss had his own mission. The two are supposed to fall in love however Damien (the Deceiver) has other plans and wants Heather for himself.

This book was well written – smooth and flowed well. Even though it was a short read, it didn’t feel that way. Unlike some books that create a romance quickly, this one takes time to grow.

4.0 out of 5 stars Light read 24 April 2015

Uriel, is an Archangel of Destiny. Heather (Heaven) is his assignment. All he knows is her name and has no idea what the outcome of this assignment should be. After millennia of performing his duties Uriel has become world-weary and is losing his compassion for humanity. Heaven chose the life of a stripper in order to support her drug addicted sister and to pay for her mother’s medical bills. The Father makes appearances in the story guiding Uriel along and with his odd fashion sense lightens the mood of the story. Fully aware of how Uriel feels, he gives him the choice to fall in love with Heather and become human. Damien (the Deceiver) knows this and will use his deceitful ways to try to get Heather for himself.
A light paranormal romance. Noticed a variation in the spelling of Damien (Damian) in the beginning. The “burning sensation”, “the heat”, used too many times. It took an encounter with the devil to convince Heather of who Uriel really was – such is human nature. I like books where I actually learn something and I got a few new words from this one (old English no less) - a definite plus. Uriel giggled. Do men giggle??? (smile)
