I did like the two main characters and their interaction but even this was rather limited. The story barely left the characters homes and there just wasn't enough of the heart warming dialogue between the other McKade's and their children compared to the previous instalment. That story was much more active with a very entertaining and action packed plot making the book hard to put down.
I bought this book hoping there would be a little more detail about the developing relationship between Devine and his stepchildren as well as Shane's adventures in love, but sadly it didn't quite satisfy.
Nora Roberts isn't cheap on kindle and unfortunately I didn't think that this book is worth the price of it.
