I freaking loved this!
I’m a sucker for a good fake boyfriend story, and damn did this have me on the edge of my seat, sniggering and just with a smile on my face.
I loved that this was the guy creating at fake relationship to win over the girl, whilst she was trying to get someone else’s attention yet fell for him.
Nico and Demi have hot chemistry, they are opposites, both broken in some way due to home life yet they understand each other.
I love how j/p Nico is with Demi and also once Demi falls for Nico that she is the same and that they are both staking their claim on the other.

TOP 500 REVIEWER
Nico and Demi have known of each other most of their lives, they are neighbours and attend the same school. The friendship that they had ended but they were still within the same circle of friendship. Nico and Demi are teamed up in a chemistry class much to Demi's disappointment. She has had a crush on Alex who plays in the same team as Nico. Nico is quiet, withdrawn and doesn't do anything to draw attention to himself nor his feelings. He is as closed up a person as can get. Demi is fun, sassy, intelligent, confident and outgoing. Their relationship develops slowly as Demi tries to find ways for him to open up and at least talk to her! i loved this book not only the relationship between NIco and Demi, but also the circle of friends. I loved that despite the obstacles thrown their way they stuck together, laughing, and teasing each other. Nico and Demi have difficult home lives and they both use their popularity in sport to disguise it. The story is so well written, the dialogue, plot is so realistic. The story is compelling, frustrating with angst! I had trouble putting the story down! the story is from both POV and its great storytelling describing their thoughts, feelings and motivations. There are ups, downs and several twists in this story that will hook you; as a reader you can't help but be invested in their happiness. Recommended!!

Spoken In: Dual Perspectives - Demi/Nico
Rating: 5 + Stars ⭐️
Fake It 'Til You Break It is a new standalone novel written by the queen Meagan Brandy. Being as she's one of my favourite authors this book was one of my most anticipated reads of this year I could not wait to get my greedy hands on it and it did NOT disappoint she slays every single time.
I'm completely blown away by this story and I am so in love with Demi and Nico the chemistry between these two was crazy intense and got me right in the feels. They are both dealing with a lot in their home life's and I loved watching them both deal with these issues together.
Meagan really knows how to write the best hero's because Nico was to die for, on the surface he seems like a broody hot-headed jerk but once you get inside his head he's caring and sweet and I want him for myself. Demi was just as incredible. She was sweet and kind but also sassy and fierce and knew how to stand up for herself when needed.
This book was all I could ask for. Slow burn with all the angst and drama and so many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. An amazing group of secondary characters I just couldn't put it down, this was absolute perfection! You are in for a wild ride.

I had crazy high hopes for this book and was so damn excited when I found it on my kindle!!
This book did NOT disappoint! It freaking delivered!
I have come to expect great things from Meagan and holy crap she doesn’t let me down!
This new hero, Nico, is as hot as he is silent and broody. The smirks and hard-earned smiles will melt you in an instant and the love and pain he has hidden deep down will bring you to your knees.
Demi, the heroine, is a bada**! Not in the ‘tough-as-nails, gonna-beat-your-a**’ kind of way, but in the smart, funny, athletic, kind and sassy way! She works hard and respects others, has some personal issues but doesn’t take it out on anyone else. She’s got a boatload of sass and I loved watching her character unfold.
This was a slow burn, fake-relationship, high school romance that has left me so in need of being apart of this crew and their world.
The way the two main characters interact is beautiful and there is some real, gritty and raw emotion shining through in their connection.
In true Meagan fashion, she wrote so I couldn’t put it down (unless I fell asleep and it landed on my face) but it wasn’t a completely predictable story...she had some shocking gems in there!
I can’t recommend Meagan Brandy and this book enough....get it, NOW!

Fake It Til You Break It – Meagan Brandy – 4.5/5
Meagan Brandy is a new author to me and I am so glad to have found her. Fake It Til You Break It is a high school romance that has everything you could want and more. This book flowed effortlessly and contained loyal friendships, chemistry, angst and banter.
Nico is this broody, guarded chip on his shoulder high schooler who I adored. Throughout the book you catch glimpses into the softer more sweet side to him and the depth of the character is refreshing for a high school hero.
Demi is the sassy, kind and endearing heroine who knows what she wants and how to get it. She is confident in who she is and knows when to stand up for herself. The connection between Nico and Demi is sizzling and the friendship and love they share first as friends then as lovers is sweet, sexy and swoon-worthy.
The biggest highlight of this book was the genuine friendship that the main characters shared with each other as well as the secondary characters. It was written in a way that was easy to read and follow along with just the right amount of drama and suspense. Overall I highly recommend this book to any high school romance fan.

Fake it til you break it

This book is well worth a read. It has a sweet but strong heroine, a good trope - high school romance with the boy who doesn’t seem interested - and a fairly broody hero. I give it 3.5 stars. Mainly because while the hero is broody, he’s also very whiney. It’s fair to a certain extent because it’s high school, but I also want my broody heroes to be slightly emotionally stunted/ not very expressive men, not drama queens. Nico is lovely, but at times all he’s doing is looking at the heroine “with anger”. The book became too long in all these angry looks with no action. Like literally he doesn’t talk to her and that goes on for days description wise. Also, there’s a bit too much drama with the friends - it’s okay to have good side characters, but this one got too descriptive but yet I didn’t come out feeling like I got too vested in the side characters at all. Anyways, it was a decent read and I would recommend it as a slightly long one time read
