Year 2009... Sacha, Will and Jamal, three goofy soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, are acutely aware of their status, limited life options and the effects of the GFC.
As a means to set them up for life, Will suggests 'importing' high grade Afghani hashish into the US. Knowing that they can't achieve this on their own, the boys present the idea to Agent Mike Bronson, a disheartened Army Intelligence Officer on probation.
Bronson initially baulks at this proposal. However, aware that his military career might soon be over, he agrees to come on board on one condition - he will be the boss.
Bronson immediately recruits a motley crew - CIA officer Roger Evergreen who lost his life savings in a dodgy real estate scheme, flamboyant Taliban warlord and local cannabis grower Commander Ibni, and hillbilly Air Force pilot Daxton Page.
Once the Chinese and Australian partners enter the game, Bronson and his team build their lucrative empire. But soon, our "heroes" learn that the real triumph is not in creating an empire, but protecting it.
