Although this begins in the previous book, we now see things through Naomi’s eyes as she helps her friends battle the mages, vampires, fairies and other creatures that have been caught up in he machinations of Darkside, Alden, the crazy cultists (sorry, forgot their name), and potentially the Magic Council.

So good, loved adding a new kick a$$ character to the lineup, especially someone who throws a massive curveball into the plot.

By writing for 3 characters, the battle to save the world from the usual assortment of megalomaniacal people & supernaturals, takes on extra complexity & interest. A very enjoyable series from all points of view

Talk about all action and blood and thunder. I just love reading about these girls and Naomi comes out special in this story. Really spooky the story involves just about all the paranormal but stays logical. As always from Ella the dialogue is smooth flowing and the story needs no padding out
A great continuation in the Dragon born series and as this is book one I can't wait to see how the couple now proceed. Highly recommended for the fans of paranormal
