The books starts by telling you about different drawing techniques and a short introduction to light and shading. Then it moves to examples of burnishing, stippling, hatching, etc. Next, images and descriptions of the different types of fairies: water faeries, sylphs, salamanders and so on.
How to draw the different kind of faeries: for each faerie, for instance, water faerie, the chapter starts with a list of colors that you'll need to achieve the image on the book. It tells you to sketch your faerie like the picture and, step 1, add a green background. Step 2, darken the large section on the left using this and that. And so it goes for a few pages until, magically - somehow, you end up with the your faerie.
So, As I said, this is for someone professional, not for beginners at all.
