After years of abuse a wife finally finds justice. This was a fast paced suspense about an abused wife in the last trimester of pregnancy who finally has enough and goes to great lengths to get herself and her baby away from her husband. She ends up enlisting the help of a lawyer with her plan.
Exposed kicks of a new series that will feature the Kavanaugh brothers. Jack Kavanaugh grew up with an abusive father. His oldest brother has been in jail for 15 years for manslaughter for killing their father. Jack became a lawyer so he could hopefully get his brother out of jail. He hasn't been successful yet but takes on a lot of pro bono case and definitely has a soft heart for women who are abused. When he first meets Darby he senses right away she is a victim and decides to go along with her crazy plan.
I enjoyed this one and look forward to the other brothers stories.

Quick intriguing read that shows a mom's need to protect her child at all costs.Reviewed in the United States on 11 April 2017
Loved this book so much read it in less than 12 hours and I did sleep! I recently found out about this new series from a favorite author of mine in the past. With this book I can look forward the next two books as much as I loved her previous ones. I thought the author did a great job in handling domestic abuse from the abused point of view which often outsiders do not understand at all. She also showed the depths mothers will go to protect their children... true love. Add to that a romance and a quick easy read, I was hooked. I already signed up for the next book in the series. I definitely recommend this book.

MeReviewed in the United States on 15 August 2017
J: I loved this story! I finished it in one day because I could not put it down. There was lots of suspense and I loved the characters. Although the subject matter was disturbing, the author handled it so well. I loved the way the relationship developed, it seemed believable. I also loved the way the main character became a strong woman and determined mother. Her plan was a bit bizarre, but beaten, terrified and stressed put people don't always think things through very well. I am ready for the next in the series.
Not as good as the FAT series...Reviewed in the United States on 29 May 2017
I thought the characters were likable. But I didn't think the heroines behavior was believable. That being said, I'll definitely read a more in the series.
