Product Description

It's not what you show, it's what you hide...

Grace Cantrell is a self-destructive exhibitionist uncomfortable in her own skin. Jason Wright is a fine-art photographer living life from behind his lens.

When Grace agrees to be the centerpiece for Jason's next gallery show, she unlocks his creative muse and dark sexual cravings. As Grace and Jason come together in a fusion of passion and art, they find themselves slowly breaking out of their carefully constructed cages, forcing Grace to confront the ghosts of her past.

As Jason captures what he most wants on film, can he capture it in real life? And can Grace risk exposing more than just her skin?

*** The Unchained Vice series has been designed for books to be read in any order as well as standalone ***

Exhibited and intense this artwork of a book is unsettling as the artist and muse in it. I cannot imagine myself in this lifestyle but the love it depicts is mesmerising. Enjoy the journey with them

5.0 out of 5 stars I can't wait for the next book! 29 September 2015

He had restrained himself for Audrey, but this time, he was going to drink from Grace's well, dominate with all the violence in his soul.

Exhibition is just as hawt as The Arrangement. I know that this book just came out, and I'm trying really, really hard to not be needy, but can I have some more? I don't know if I can wait for Hugo's next book without exploding. I love the grittiness of the story, the darkness. The sexual energy and tension between Jason and Grace will MAKE YOU EXPLODE! Do yourself a favor and read this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wow! 26 September 2015

Wow! I really enjoyed reading Exhibition! I liked getting to know the characters. There's a bit of darkness, but it's the "right amount". Grace & Jason both have issues, which is the reason they've both turned to the dark side of BDSM and eventually find each other. I look forward to reading more from Nicolette Hugo.

A bit of a dark but very steamy novel. Jason is a photographer and a dominant, Grace is an exhibitionist and Jason feels the perfect muse for his next exhibition and in the process explore their dark desires. Lots of emotion these characters are very complex, I loved the story very hot and intense. Amazing Read!

5.0 out of 5 stars What a great read! Loved the perfect mix of sexy/story!!! 23 October 2015
By Rachel Bound by Books - Published on Amazon.com

This is my first book by Nicolette Hugo and now I have to run over to amazon (yeah, tap over to amazon just doesn't sound like it includes enough effort LOL ) and pick up the rest of whatever she has out, because I LOVED Exhibition! It was equal parts sexy and story, mixed just right. I loved Jason, hopefully we'll see more of him-like maybe his backstory, how he got into the sadist role, etc...and Grace was just a traumatized beautiful woman making the most of her guilt laden life. Their relationship started out by just signing a guest book, turning Grace into Eve (when you read this super story you'll understand).

~"Eyes on me." His order snapped through her dark, demanded her attention. "Just because I'm not touching you doesn't mean I'm not the one effing you."

OOOH, gotta love a dirty mouth!

Jason has an artistic eye, whether it's architecture, drawing, photography and that artistic license leads him to hob-nob with the rich and famous, his ex love is the current movie starlet. Seeing Grace at a "play" party, she draws his eye...

Grace is a psychologist/psychiatrist not really sure which, running from guilt, a bad BDSM experience, and her family...she has a patient, Sam, who kills himself...he's only 17, and that triggers Grace's guilt, sending her into a spiral where she seeks Jason out to "make the pain go away." She's an exhibitionist, which leads Jason to the perfect idea of her becoming his next muse! We know what happens, obviously one thing leads to another and they have lots of steamy sexy, and begin falling for one another.

~Somewhere in every man's heart, he was still an explorer. It was about having permission to discover the edge of someone's darkest desires and uncover their truest self.

It was about the extraordinary intimacy and the trust that made it possible. That bond could liberate a man's soul.

Nicolette Hugo's writing was fabulous. I loved her characters and her story. I can't wait to read so much more from her!

5.0 Stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved the honesty and the realism that’s used to show the characters’ reactions to pain, how it feeds their needs.” 16 October 2015

Nicolette Hugo has a spellbinding way with words that captured me in her debut, The Arrangement. Exhibition: Unchained Vice continues in the same world, with a few characters you might recognize from a party in The Arrangement. Grace Cantrell is a therapist with a kink for exhibitionism, but a past misjudgment has left her questioning her needs and scared to dip her foot in the pool again. When Jason Wright, a photographer with a sadistic side, sees her on display at a party, he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame. Their interaction leaves Grace stunned and she knows she’s falling down the rabbit hole again. Still, it might not have been enough to keep her from walking away had a tragedy at work not left her on a voluntary leave for three weeks. Desperately seeking release from the pain, Grace approaches Jason and they enter into an informal arrangement with no rules and only a safe word to save her should she be pushed too far.

Exhibition is a more fully fleshed out story than its predecessor, in that we get to see this relationship evolve from first meeting. Grace is damaged in ways that are revealed later in the book and this makes her both hesitant and hungry since she’s denied herself her true nature for so long. I truly felt sympathy for her as a character trying to navigate the waters of uncertainty, surrounded by those who get her kink and others who see it only as self-destruction. Jason’s sadism is well developed and he’s very experienced in dishing out pain. He is well known in the circles he operates in, but I did want to get a deeper look at what made him tick, a hint of his past. Whether wielding a whip or a needle, I could feel all of the air being sucked out of the room, sense the anticipation and fear that he elicited. I’ve said it before, but Hugo’s prose really is very poetic and poignant, without being syrupy. She is able to distill down what makes the submissive crave what they do, how they cope with a scene, how they feel in subspace in a way that I find unique. Again, this is a much more character driven story than is the norm lately. While there are a few parties and some group play, the scenes and the emotions that surround them are the stars here, which is just how I like it. The Arrangement wasn’t mild play, by any means, but Exhibition pushes into territory that is on the more hardcore side of pain. I loved the honesty and the realism that’s used to show the characters’ reactions to pain, how it feeds their needs. I’ve hinted at some of the implements used and you can expect both pointy and hot things ;). The first outing Jason and Grace have together was truly one of the most unique I’ve read in a kink themed book. You have to be willing to test your boundaries just like Grace and if you’re open, it’s hot beyond belief. This is erotic romance, so Grace and Jason get an absolutely beautiful HEA, one that I’m supremely jealous of. If you can handle the more edgy side of play, this is a stellar second installment in this series. I’m now a fully-fledged fan and eagerly await what comes next.
