I was first introduced to Danielle Burton via the app titled Wattpad where I read an amazing fantasy realm novel that she was writing.. I then selected Excuse Me, First Love and quite literally it changed my life 😆 Danielle's character live diverse lives and experience a plethora of different experiences within each of them.. Jayson and Red's Journey has been one of tough love and many lessons learnt. It showed Red's journey to becoming the empowered young woman she is destined to be.. there was definitely a major heartbreak in the story but Red showed with love, strength and determination even through one of the most bone crushing of experiences one will need to deal with in life.. one picks themselves up off the ground and dusts themselves off to thrive once again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ definitely an author to add to your collection and definitely a book to recommend 😉

A good readReviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 September 2016
This book is filled with heartwarming emotion and will suprise you with plot twists that at times, may leave you enraged because of how realistically accurate the story is. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend to any romantics and people who enjoy more unpredictable story lines.

In My Opinion
Pleasantly surprised.Reviewed in the United States on 4 May 2017
So this is my first read from this author. I put off reading it for a long time because I anticipated it possibly being boring. I don't know why but the title and the cover didn't grab me and I'm not even sure how I ended up getting it on my kindle to be honest with you. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. I'm not an emotional type person, but I will say that this was one of the few books that actually tugged at my heart strings enough to make me want to cry during one of the funeral scenes. Even though there were quite a few typos, I was able to overlook them for the most part. The character development was good and I really found myself invested in Gabbi and Jason as well as Benji and the other supporting cast. I'll read book 2 soon.
