An alternative to formula exists! When breastfeeding doesn’t work out, situations such as a premature or an ill baby delay breastfeeding, or a you simply choose not to breastfeed, exclusively pumping breast milk—using a breast pump to initiate and maintain lactation—is a viable option and can be done on a long-term basis. Exclusively Pumping Breast Milk offers moms the knowledge, advice, and support necessary to initiate and maintain their milk supply with a breast pump. This second edition of the first—and most comprehensive—book about exclusively pumping offers well-researched information, and plenty of tips and tricks, to help you on your journey. In addition to the basics of exclusively pumping, the second edition includes information on lactation and breast milk composition, increasing and decreasing supply, overcoming common challenges, pumps and accessories, storing expressed milk, weaning, and also a chapter specifically for mothers with babies in the NICU. Exclusively pumping breast milk is possible and this book will provide the accurate information and support necessary for you to provide your baby with “expressed love”.

Awesome guide24 January 2019 - Published on Amazon.com
This is a comprehensive guide for pumpers ! Wow, so glad to discover something like this existed. I am following all of the recommendations and producing a lot. She goes over everything you may need to know. She gives you resources and support. She covers increasing and decreasing supply, weaning, how to entertain baby while pumping, power pumping, diet, pump settings, emotional support and so much more. So grateful I found this. Didn’t expect my BF journey to end in less than 48 hrs so I was scrambling to read this. If you are too, shoot for 8 15 minute pumps every day while you have a newborn and until you can cover the material in more detail. Ideally they say pump every 2 hours but I found this to be impossible while caring for my baby. The author approves 8 15 minute sessions- shoot for 2 hrs on the pump total daily and empty often just like your baby would. This schedule is only temporary- she gives you everything you need to pump long term. Good luck.

Information is good but easy to find elsewhere.7 May 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
This book wasn't horrible, but if you spend enough time searching "pumping breast milk" on Pinterest, you'll find pretty much everything that was in here. It was well written and organized. Most importantly I think it provides the support and encouragement that moms that EP need.

Great Read12 September 2018 - Published on Amazon.com
This was an amazing read as a mom who was trying to navigate a baby not latching and trying to understand what in the world EP'ing was. This provided helpful feedback and information to help guide me through my decision on whether to EP or formula feed. So thankful I found this book!

Great information and an easy read19 April 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
Great information and an easy read. Somewhat repetitive but I do believe that is in the case a person could only read the chapters that apply to them or if they needed to go back to something.
