Even cosmic beings need help sometimes.

Evaran and the gang travel to another universe to investigate something that should not have happened. What they find embroils them in a cosmic conflict. Although they’re happy to meet Sivaran, another one of Evaran’s plane forms, the situation is not good.

One problem is that Wardax, the supreme ruler of the Zayt Empire, has been sweeping across the galaxy with his enforcers and infected swarms. His assimilation has enveloped thousands of worlds, but he has also destroyed others, such as Drydris, the home planet of the ancient vampires.

Another version of Lord Vygon joins up for this outing, as does Q, Sivaran’s AI companion. The gang will need to not only deal with Wardax but also restore the galactic balance of power.

I'd happily read Evarans' adventures all day, every day !

Evaran is back with more great adventures.
This 12th book in the series is even better than the earlier ones. All the imaginative characters, scenarios, universes and fantastic beings and adventures are totally terrific.
I could keep reading about Evaran all day long.
I received an ARC of this book and this review is my honest opinion.

This book introduces Sivaran, one of Evaran's other plane forms! So very interesting to have not one but 2 Evarans. I enjoyed reading about Sivaran and how he is just like Evaran but different :) Wardax, a plant like being with cosmic energy is causing all kinds of chaos . The gang alongwith Sivaran must come up with a strategy to remove Wardax, which is not an easy task because Wardax has taken hostage one of Evaran's own and uses mental torture to learn all their tactics and counter their every move. I also got to meet some other characters from this series, Kess, Jelton, Lord Vygon and ofcourse Dalton and his crew If you have read the previous books in this series, (which I highly recommend) , its really fun to read about all the characters , how they are involved and how everything is connected. Lord Vygon an ancient vampire is front and center in this book and you get to see his journey through time. This is by far my favorite book in this series. Of course Ive felt that way at the end of every one of Adair Hart's books, but as always, he outdid himself with this one!
