These are CAT 7 cables of good quality & comparable prices to CAT 6 cables. Most cables in use are currently CAT 6 which are used to minimise losses and are utilised as patch cables particularly after the NBN is activated. Most older systems are connected with the older (slower) CAT 5E. Great value , gold plated connectors and warranted , you can't go wrong.
I'm using the flat Ethernet cable under a rug in my lounge room to connect my home entertainment switch to the rest of my home network. Far less visible than typical round Ethernet cables. Only using it for 1G uplink but working perfectly. The RJ45 connectors seem solid and so far no clips have broken and the connectors don't get jammed when removing from switch ports. Recommended.
Was looking for some quality ethernet cables for my 4K-upgrade of my devices and network. Went' looking for Cat6, discovered these Cat7 for same price. Love the FLAT design, braided finish, colour options and quality connectors. I ended up getting seven in all spanning 1M, a few 3M, and 8M, 10M for some longer runs. Flat design great for running along walls and skirting boards.
I've been using the cable for some time now. Connectors are solid, the connector release tabs are still intact (!), and have been rolling the cable up periodically as it was moved around. It's a quality piece of gear for the price, no complaints, and I'll update if that view changes!
