The black legion is almost out of the empire. It has to pass the Eternal Fortress. Almost as big a danger to the legion is the internal struggles between officers. If intrigue doesn't kill them first the Eternal Fortress will do it's best. This seems to be the last in the series, I hope I'm wrong about that.

Another chapter in the life if the Black Legion. In a future where man kind has spread out over many stars a group of 10,000 mercenaries are fighting their way back home. Warding off the diversions and attackers of the Median Empire the heros overcome one fantastic futuristic obstacle after another. Michal Thomas has a great series here. Well worth every dime spent to read more. Keep up the good work.
Had trouble reading this one. Too many terms and plays on ancient history. Very little science fiction. Could as easily have been set during earlier earth period Purely a combat adventure with all it's necessary elements. Not really my cup of tea. Great for drama fans I suppose. No offense to the writer, I just have a love of writings more specific and true space opera 👽😄

Another great addition to the series, a worthwhile purchase since the series can be re-read several times. I enjoyed the character development and changes. I'm looking forward to the next novel. So far, this series has enough variety for spin-offs.

I like the story. More care should be taken by the author in the preparation of his manuscript. Prevalent in the last three books are that words may be spelled correctly in accordance with whatever spell check is used, but they might be the wrong one. Even more fascinating in one instance a characters name was incorrect - Tamara became Theresa.
5.0 out of 5 starsStar Legions continues to be a good read and I recommend it.

Michael Thomas the Star Legions series is a light and very interesting series and read. The subdued prime character and the supporting cast are interesting. His ability to get out of danger only slightly damaged is compelling.
