Product Description

When this killer was on the loose, citizens were vigilant, yet scared. Children were not allowed outside to play without adult supervision. But then he was captured, tried, convicted, and put away for life in prison. The community could finally breathe again.

They are out of danger.

Until the day the convicted killer escapes prison and rains terror upon anyone and everyone in his way. The manhunt pursues, the killer kills, and earns the title of a serial killer.

This is the story of Allan Legere—a monster.

Inside Bonus - the story of Andrea Yates from the book, "Parents Who Killed Their Children"

Most excellent read! While brief, it has all the elements of an engaging and frightening true crime story. Serial killer Allan Legere brutally traumatized this small town in Canada and I would bet the remnants of his reign of terror still exists today. Actually after reading this, I made sure my doors and windows were locked up nice and tight as these types of killers with grievances against society in general are even more common today. Highly recommended!

A very insightful read about one of Canada's well known serial killers: Allan Legere, who terrorized residents of the Miramichi River Valley in New Brunswick, Canada. It is a short book yet very interesting and certainly shows how Allan Legere deserves the title of "The Monster of Miramichi".

5.0 out of 5 stars Hated Scoiety 18 February 2017

Allen Legere only had one friend, his brother. Everyone always laughed and made fun of him all through school. After his brother was killed his life spiraled out of control. Worked many years selling cars making small salary just getting by. Even there at his work place employees laughed at him. He quit his job, hatred started boiling in him toward people. His first kill during a robbery to gain money didn't work out so well. He was caught. He managed to escape prison. Time on the run was tough, stealing cars along the way. As the hatred grew more for people he looked for his next victim, a old man and his wife. He viciously beat them, some how the lady lived and described Allen. As time has passed now the police got his DNA. Eventually he was caught after two more kills. Tried and convicted, everyone was finally at ease he was caught. RJ did a great job describing this serial killer, and his hate for everyone.
