Product Description

The last thing I expect when I move to my mother’s hometown is to run into the guy I’ve been dreaming about for years.

Literally.

Not only have I seen him in my dreams long before meeting him in the flesh, but I run smack into his muscular chest in a bar. Then I puke on him.

Not one of my finer moments.

But things are getting messier. He shows up where I work and has no clue it was me. In fact, there are a lot of things he’s in the dark about.

Like how I’ve dreamed of him yet again, and how I’m terrified for his safety now. A madman has made our small town his new stomping ground, and I’m witness to all the gory details as they unfold like a horror movie every time I close my eyes.

But Aidan’s sexy-as-hell intuitive gaze won’t quit haunting me. He has secrets too, and I’m determined to uncover every last one. Together, we might just heal each other.

If fate and a serial killer don’t get to us first.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thrilling 14 April 2014

Mackenzie had some pretty horrible stuff happen to her, her boyfriend called her a liar and instead of standing up for her and loving her he turned his back to her. Desperate for a change she leaves town and moves to her mothers hometown.
Mackenzie is no ordinary girl she dreams of death. Only her dreams arent just dreams these are true accounts of the torture inflicted by a madman against women. Its frustrating to say the least because theres nothing she can do. Well she can she can play PI. Things get interesting because shes just ran into the man of her dreams. Aiden is literally the man of her dreams. She’s dreamed of his face for years, she foolishly assumed he wasnt real. But I mean come on girl! Your dreams of murders are real why wouldnt a guy be real? Interestingly enough he is also interested in these murders. Though for a different reason. The two seem to click rather quickly, not exactly instalove but something close, they did spend a large amount of time together so thats kinda expected. Well that and its a NA novel.
Aiden has some serious issues himself but they seem to compliment each other. And really thats the thing that love stories are made of in my opinion. I want someone to balance out my crazy to bring me down when ive gone to far. And Aiden and Mackenzie seem to do that for each other. Though there is quite a bit of love and romance in this story I felt the mystery was the focus of the story. Who was this psycho raping and hanging women and how had he gotten away with it for so long!
Of course theres more drama to the story things I saw coming and things that really surprised me. So kudos to Christina Jean Michaels for keeping me on my toes. Im pretty interested in seeing where this story goes. While its the first in a series it didnt exactly end in a cliffhanger but its paynefully (see what I did there?) obvious theres way more to the story then whats between these pages.

The Way I See It

Wow! Epiphany was such an entertaining read. It has a touch of paranormal but just a touch. All of the characters were intriguing and I was gripped to the pages as I went along. This was a one-stop-shop. It had suspense, intrigue, drama, love, second chances and betrayal. Try saying that 5 times fast... lol. Seriously, I thought the Kardashians were scandalous. Well let me tell you they've got nothing on the people from the small town of Watchers Point. This was a different and very fun read that I totally lost myself in.

E-ntertaining, meeting new people was never Kenzie's thing. Dating was the last thing on her mind.
P-arents, angry with her mother and never knowing her father, Kenzie is trying to find herself in this world.
I-ntriguing a stranger who is anything but a stranger comes barreling into Kenzie's life. Little does she know its about to change forever.
P-romise, to make sure no one else is hurt, Aidan will stop at nothing to find a murderer.
H-urt, so much pain has followed Aidan and Mackenzie. Their pasts seem to be a barrier keeping them apart.
A-nger, Mackenzie's mother unloads a world of pain on her daughter. Now Kenzie must get away to seek answers from the only person who can give them to her.
N-otorious, a danger to everyone has managed to get away with so much destruction it seems he can elude at every turn.
Y-earning, to move on and put everything in the past is what Kenzie wishes. It seems her past refuses to let go and it could be the most dangerous yet.

Eeeeep... yep there's more to come! I have the full blown grin tongue hanging out, panting like an excited little puppy. :) I am dying to read more about this complex little town with these intriguing characters. Ms. Michaels does an amazing job of introducing everyone...I want to know more and I want HEA's for EVERYONE! This was one thrilling chase. Kenzie's dreams were the key to so many things. I loved the way Aidan was there for her from the beginning. Get this book you won't regret it.

My Fav's

Mackenzie
Major Baggage Alert. Wow this poor girl has got some serious pain and betrayal that she is trying to work through. Its not easy when the love of your life rips out your heart. Well, even with having to deal with all that we get to know her and realize she is kind and caring. For all of the hurt she has suffered she is still empathetic I'm looking forward to reading more about Kenzie as she discovers who she really is and what her abilities mean for her.

Aidan
Strong, handsome, brooding, Aidan comes to Watchers point looking to stop a killer. The last thing he was counting on was finding Kenzie, funny thing about fate is it doesn't wait for you it vomits on your leather jacket when you least expect it. I'm looking forward to knowing Aidan better, I knew he was a protector for a reason. I just knew it ;)

My Wish
What the heck is up with this Payne family?! Hamilton...Dying to know what is really going on!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazingly written, beautifully dark, and heartwarmingly powerful read. 14 March 2016

I loved the Trilogy. From book 1, I was hooked and couldn't put any of the books down. Gemma developed a world within our own where a character who dreams of things that happen lives among us. Her dreams slowly become a reality, and while she tries to hide a horrific past, she falls in love with someone who will give her an amazing future. They try to fight their attraction, but in the end, give in. They survive the worst, and Mac finds that one of her dreams didn't become a reality. Each book builds on each other until finally you get such a sweet ending that makes you want more. I couldn't wait to finish this series and see what happens, because it was just that good. These are so well written, and just great. It's got dark and light, pain and love, sadness and happiness, and a crazy madman to tie everything together. There are still some secrets left hidden from Aiden and Mac, but no matter what, they still push through and live their lives together. I cannot wait to read more of Gemma James' work.
