Product Description

He rejected her. She loathes him. Now they have to fool everyone and pretend they actually like each other.

Tanner Harris has been busy shagging his way through the ladies of east London, but getting caught by the paparazzi buck-naked with his trouser snake in his hands means he’s sowed his last wild oat.

Dr. Belle Ryan once thought Tanner Harris was the perfect kind of bearded bad boy she needed to relieve a bit of stress after her intense job as a surgical fellow, but an icy cold rejection from London’s sluttiest footballer puts the two at each other’s throats.

Fate and a favour conspire to put Tanner and Belle back in each other’s paths and they’re forced to do a lot more than get along to save face and their careers.

Rage turns to passion and tempers run sizzling hot when they realise they aren’t just falling for each other—they’re jumping head first. And neither have the endurance to keep their hands to themselves.

Get ready to go Balls Deep as Amy Daws delivers another amazing read.

You don't need to have read the first Harris brothers book, Challenge, to enjoy Endurance, but why would you want to miss any of the goodness?

Tanner and Belle are made for each other - they just need to see through their current opinions of each other to see it.

Not going to lie, Tanner was pretty unlikable at first - but that didn't last too long for me. Though I may have wanted to do physical harm to him at times!

I felt that both our lovelies needed to do a bit of growing up at first - not professionally but emotionally. However I also felt that this was how they needed to be become who they are.

And the fact that Tanner let Belle's crazy flag fly just added to his swoonworthiness.

I LOVED that we got glimpses of the people from Not The One and That One Moment (well, they are all interconnected in some way), and especially loved that we got more of my man Hayden .. sigh that man ❤

Each and every book by Ms Daws just gets better. Every time I tell myself the next one can't be as good as the last, and it is.

And although no one will ever be as good as my man Hayden, Tanner gave him a run for his money.

Now can't wait to see which of the Harris brothers gets into mischief next.

Tanner Harris is going through a period of adjustment. After a lifetime spent in sync with his twin, Camden, recent times have seen a monumental change in their relationship. Without giving too much away about Challenge, which details the story of those changes from the points of view of Camden and his love interest Dr Indie Porter, suffice it to say that Tanner's twin, is no longer 'on the market', and his football career has taken a turn that sees him no longer Tanner's mirror image on the other side of the football pitch where they were once both strikers for the same team, Bethnal Green.

Being a somewhat typical alpha male playing professionally for a Championship league club, Tanner's way of dealing with these changes doesn't involve talking about his feelings or letting it all out. Instead he goes the route of big parties, loose women and thanks to some pretty poor choices in that regard, courting the scandal pages of national tabloids at every turn.

When Dr Belle Ryan, BFF of the aforementioned Indie gets inadvertently caught up in one of those scandals things come to a crisis and pressure is brought to bear on the both of them to, for the sake of their respective families, take steps to repair their damaged reputations.

Amy Daws, in Endurance, has written a clever, witty comedy that, over and above the laughs that come at a rapid fire pace, nevertheless touches upon some extremely emotive topics. Family relationships of course, as all of Tanner's family take up residence as part of his story, including his sister Vi, whose story fans might remember from That One Moment, and the Harris family, despite their extraordinary level of crazy, is contrasted favorably with the Ryan family, some of whom I'll wager, you'll want to strangle before the book is finished.

I’ve read all of Amy Daws’ other books: I started out with her memoir and then became totally addicted to her fabulous ‘London Lovers’ fiction series. This new book had an excellent first chapter; there was plenty of action. I had just finished another book and it was late at night-I just intended having a quick dip in here. I ended up I couldn't stop reading! I couldn't believe the page count: it said 475 pages-it felt much shorter, it was a fast and fun read.

I like the chapters presented by the different characters, Tanner and Belle. This will work brilliantly for another addition to Amy Daws' dual narration style audiobooks. As her previous books, this has such great dialogue which grabs you and keeps you reading. It’s not just a sexy romance story, the characters have real depth, they have unusual jobs, they have brains, are well-educated. There are deeper issues woven in, things to capture your emotions. There’s so much more than meets the eye with this author's books.

Not just random encounters-there are lots of connections with the character’s families and perhaps connections through jobs. Not just sex; characters flounder around a bit but true love usually triumphs through. I love this series, and its sub-series, and I suppose the sports romances are yet another sub-series. They're all great. I've used most of my superlatives up before so I don't need to say much in this review and I don't want to give much away what happens in the book-except to say there are plenty of surprises and scenarios you don't imagine will occur in a usual/typical romance book. But Amy Daws' books are anything but typical. They're SPECIAL. And this is certainly another winner.

This was the first book I've read in the series and even though it's not book 1 it can easily be read as a standalone. Enjoyed reading Tanner's story and can't wait to dive into the other books in the series. If you like hot english soccer players then this one's for you.
