Product Description

Praise for The Akasha Chronicles Series:

"Excellent! Five stars! A fun, action-packed book with depth!" - Great Summer Reads for Teens

"The writing quality is excellent. The teen characters are realistic and would be easy for teens to relate with when they read this book. The suspense is fun, keeps you on edge and satisfied with the twist of the story." -Jane Jones

"Excellent for tweens, teens and adults (not girly) with a bit of history, friendship struggles and a mystic quality that keeps you guessing. I recommend purchasing Book 2 at the same time as you will want to read it as soon as you finish this one." -Kathryn Figaro-Reifsteck

"All in all, this is a wonderful story of a young girl coming to know herself through facing her own fears and doubts, while recognizing and accelerating her new-found strengths. A great YA novel." -Dianne Greenlay

"A well-written and captivating story. Highly recommended." - RJ Parker

********************

Seventeen-year-old Emily Adams unintentionally unleashed a shadow god's dark energy power into the world and started an Apocalypse. But Emily is also the only one that can end the dark god's reign. Though the powerful faerie magic of the golden torc is still coiled around her arm, self-doubt threatens to undo her. Emily wants nothing more than to feel the soft kiss of her one true love, but he won't even speak to her. Her first crush is still quite dead and her best friend remains a prisoner in the dark god's house of nightmares. A growing legion of black-eyed shadow people, devoid of conscience, roam the streets. Emily needs help now more than ever, but redemption seems far off indeed as she faces the expanding darkness alone.

Emily will need an army of her own if she is to save the world from being taken over by pure evil. But will a small band of Lucent geeks and freaks be enough to send the dark god packing?

Amidst chaos and ruin, will love blossom in Emily's Heart?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Winner! 9 February 2014

This was the best writing the author has done and I loved the book! I couldn't put it down as I wondered if "good" would prevail. I liked the way the characters aged through the series and I enjoyed the transformation that took place between the girl friends and the way the two had to work together; though in more "normal" times they wouldn't have had the time of day for each other. Everything came together nicely and I think this book is a winner. (Loved the covers on all three books but this is the best). I look forward to reading more books by Natalie Wright.

4.0 out of 5 stars A solid finish to a very interesting trilogy 3 March 2014

Overall I thought this did a great job finishing Emily's story and tying up the loose ends, although I thought Jake could have been put through a little less torture. I thought the short chapters describing the fates of other individuals outside of Emiy's core group were well done. There were just enough to give you an idea of the impact of Ciardha's reign on the general population, but not too much that it detracted from the main plot.

This is the perfect ending to this series. Natalie Wright has grown as a writer along with Emily. Jake and Fanny. I can't wait to see what she writes next!

5.0 out of 5 stars Emily's Heart 29 November 2014
By Serenity - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The final book in the series, and it ended with a bang! Such an amazing series and is worth giving a shot. Right now time has gone by and Emily is another day older, and a fight with dark and light is going on. Emily is alone on this and she must hurry to end the darkness. So many people are losing their souls to the darkness and soon, it will have everyone. Emily may be the only who can end it, but she will need some help, she will have to gather as much as help as she can to save everyone.

Emily has Lucents on her side, but who knows if that will be enough. What's even worse is that her best friend is in danger and a guy she likes wont give her time of day right now. Like come on! Talk to her! Help her out here! Let's end the evil darkness and then go on to not talking or something. There will also be that one thing in a book where you will be yelling at characters to put stuff aside and do what needs to be done. Then you know, the book is amazing, and when you just keep turning a page until you have nothing left to read.

So eventually after some hard work and will, Emily manages to make everything right again. Darkness is gone and the world will start off like its supposed to. Emily is a kick-ass chick! I love reading about chicks and their strength, its great to see them go through things and come out strong. Proving they are just as amazing as male characters.

If you have been reading the series, then you would know Jake. I have no words for him right now. His character, just angered me at times. Even the love he has, wouldn't change how annoyed and angry I'd be at his character.

5.0 out of 5 stars Emily's Heart ~ The Akasha Chronicles 9 March 2014
By Jane Jones - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Emily's Heart is the third book in the trilogy by Natalie Wright. She manages to free Fanny and is back with Jake by the end of the book. One of her thoughts at the end of the book is about what her dad said. I love this passage, "Governments never solve problems, people do. So I guess it is up to us to figure it out." Although the three books of the Akasha Chronicles are fiction and very good fiction, it is so true what this character says at the end of the story, it is the people that make the difference in our world. Emily's Heart is a perfect ending for this age appropriate trilogy for young adult readers.

I want to thank Emily Wright for the proof copy of Emily's Heart. The review was not requested and the views expressed are my own.
