Product Description

Glass artist Savannah Smith expected a marriage proposal for Thanksgiving—just not from her strong, silent, super-hot neighbor. But when misplaced mail and a wayward can of paint lands them in a compromising position right as her family arrives for dinner, they assume he’s “The One” she’s been talking about.

Then his family shows up.

Fate dealt a crippling blow to paramedic Beau Montgomery’s heart, and he isn’t about to put it at risk again. Except, with his mother crying tears of joy over his surprise engagement to the sexy little blonde next door, he can’t bring himself to ruin her “Christmas miracle.”

Somewhere between the paint can to the head and the chaotic family trip to the ER, Beau manages to talk Savannah into being his fake fiancée long enough to survive the holidays.

If, of course, they don’t fall in love first…

He needs the kind of rescue only she can provide…

Each book in the Love Emergency series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.

I actually loved these two as a couple, Savannah and Beau fit together really well and I enjoyed the connection between them both in and out of the bedroom. They were so cute and so ridiculously hot together I couldn’t stop reading. A bit of the storyline is predictable, I still enjoyed it.

Savannah is a free spirited artist, she's bright and lives life to the fullest. She's nobody's doormat so when her (ex)boyfriend treats her badly she has no problem walking away. Beau is brilliant, funny and caring but he's not controlling and he is nothing like some of the over the top alphas we often read. After suffering heartbreak he has closed himself off to the idea of a relationship and keeps everyone at a distance. Savannah helps Beau by staying true to herself and loving him completely.

Samanthe Beck's stories always provide sweet and sexy romances with great characters and lots of humour and that's exactly what I was got from Emergency Engagement. This book was definitely a fun and easy read.

Sammy, what the heck has gone wrong with your story telling. Gosh I have private pleasures series over and over..."falling for the enemy" hot was that story and what a gorgeous, gorgeous romance and added to that we're the McCade brothers.. Then along comes "Compromising her position"... I should have been cynical the moment I read the lovely introduction from Sammy explaining how she loves a male model and wow that's what she based her hero on. OK I think
, Sammy has some serious credibility in dashing out a romance novel ....I will trust and I will read this book.....WRONG. I read the book..I was underwhelmed, please read review, Kirribilligirl is my public name.
So the 15 February the new book arrives on my Kindle...and again a twee little intro about how Sammy loves Paramedics...I read the book, I read it twice... I was crazy to invest my money....a man who refuses to love because he lost his wife and family 3 years ago ... Blah, blah. Most of all is pregnancy occurring because the pill fails...this is the make or break point of the book....I hate this story line because so many young woman come away with the opinion that oral contraceptive will fail. What I hate is that it's sloppy story telling.. Pregnancy are not the way to a HEA.
So dear reader please reAd the reviews below and be persuaded that I'm a cruel person who missed the underlying emotion in this book because like you I believed that Sammy would come up with the goods....when you've read it...come back and read my review ....and send me a message ..."you were so right Kirribilligirl.."

5.0 out of 5 stars Yet again, Ms. Beck delivers. Five Awesome Stars. 16 February 2016

I flat out loved this book. I am a Samanthe Beck fan and this book delivers. Savannah is cute, smart and hilarious. Beau is smoking hot, super sexy and the chemistry between the two nearly burned up my Kindle! I lost myself in Savannah's and Beau's story and finished in one sitting. I may even admit to a bit of a tear at the end of the book when both Savannah and Beau find themselves in a position neither anticipated. The emotion in this book along with steamy hotness makes this a must read. I cannot recommend this book more.

5.0 out of 5 stars So love these characters! 7 March 2016
By Valerie StuckInBooks - Published on

I've been reading a lot of paranormal romance but this one called to me. I adore pretending stories. Nothing like thinking you can handle being kissed by a sexy guy but you end up falling for him. So I picked this one up. And I'm so glad I did.

A quick read, I just didn't want to put it down. Both of these characters have been hurt emotionally. One much worse than the other but neither of them want a relationship. But when a misunderstanding has their parents believing they are engage, Beau doesn't have the heart to clear up the issue. For the first time in a long time, his parents aren't looking at him with worry in their eyes. It will only be for the holiday's. They deserve that. Little does he know that opening his very shattered heart even enough to pretend to care for Savannah, has him falling for her in a fierce way.

These characters spoke to me. Pretending stories can be hit or miss with the way the pretend is set up. If it's ridiculous then I'm just shaking my head at them. But these two literally fell into this pretend. And it worked for me. Because it fits Beau's personality. And I so love Beau! He's an EMT and he has that protective, want to help vibe going. He finds ways to help. It's who he is.

Savannah is an artist who apparently isn't good enough for the rich guy she's been dating, well not good enough to marry anyway. Her eccentric artistic side is fun and I enjoyed getting to know her. I loved how much and how quickly she fell for Beau. She saw the guy he was and her heart melted. I just loved that.

Sexy! Dang these two are hot together. It shouldn't surprise anyone that this book is steaming hot, it's a Brazen. But as soon as these two decided they might as well enjoy the chemistry between them, they were toast. No going back for them. And I was cheering that they could figure out a way to get past the pain of the past and find a happy in the present.

Good stuff. This book is good stuff and the first contemporary I've really enjoyed in quite a while. I needed it. I enjoyed it. And it brought me out of my contemporary slump.

If you're looking for that really good contemporary to get lost in for a few hours, then this is the one to pick up.

While I love Entangled, I don't usually purchase books under the Brazen imprint but I am a sucker for fake relationships so I took a chance on this one. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was impressed! Firstly, the story was believable. It had depth. It dispelled my worry that there would be pages and pages of sex scenes. Instead, it offered a humorous, emotional and gripping story. I loved it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book by Samanthe Beck!! 27 March 2016

Another great book by Samanthe Beck!! I loved Savannah and Beau. This book had a great combination of romance, friendship, humor and steam. One-For-Three!!! Best. Nickname. Ever!!

Savannah was expecting a marriage proposal, but not from her gorgeous neighbor who she just met... Again? Beau was expecting a nice quiet dinner with his parents, but ended up with a fiancé and a trip to the emergency room.

Gloria Gaynor, a rogue paint can, a compromising position, a big mouth sibling, overly excited parents, and a past they didn't realize they shared all culminate into a... fake engagement??? They just need to keep up the reuse for a month, get through the holidays. Then they can "break up" and go their separate ways. Easy right? But time spent together turns the sparks of attraction into a flame of lust, but Beau draws the line when it comes to the inferno of love.

Savannah is a colorful, live out loud person, while a tragic past has turned Beau into a faded version of the person he used to be. Savannah is looking for the fairytale, but Beau no Prince Charming... Or so he thinks. Beau is convinced that he no longer has anything to offer anyone, but his everyday actions say otherwise. Savannah clearly sees Beau's potential for love, but can she open his eyes so he sees it before it's too late?

As their time together is coming to an end, Beau has some decisions to make. Can he let her go? Can he open himself up to love again? Now that Savannah has colored his world, can he go back to living in black and white?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story and Characters! 19 March 2016

I didn't even want to buy this book. I actually wanted to read Hunter's story, the second in the series, but figured I better read them in order first. So I grabbed Beau's book...and I'm so glad I did!

The characters were great. I loved Beau immediately. The only thing that was disappointing was that seeing him in his work environment was very limited. I felt like it was sort of glossed over, only mentioned a few times. Part of it was due to his being off work for several days, of course, but I wished there'd been more. I'd have liked to see more of his deeper relationship with Hunter (which we saw in Hunter's book). Either way, I loved Beau quickly. I also adored Savannah. The best part of her was that she was very, very real. She has a sort of off-beat job (glass blower!) and she loves it with everything she is. She's spunky and totally the heroine we all want to be. It's no wonder that she and Beau have such great chemistry!

The plot it this one was pretty entertaining. A little silly, a little too good to be true, but totally fun. The author pulled it off pretty well and I loved every minute.

I can't wait for more from this series! I need to get my hands on Sinclair's book, as well as Ashley's!
