This was recommended by my FB book club and since joining have explored lots of new genres I wouldn’t have read this before but I am so very glad I did I loved the story and as for Eleanor OMG I totally fell in love with her character and quirkiness I was sad to finish it and would definitely recommend this book to everyone I know
Recommended to me by by a friend I am embarrassed to say I put off reading it as wasn't sure I'd enjoy it, well I absolutely loved it! I have recommended it to so many people. This the first book I've reviewed where I've been positive and happy to say it's a great read. A little quirky and a little sad, at times I laughed out loud. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and was sad to finish as would have loved to read more about Eleanor. I can understand why it will be turned into a movie.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it's frank honesty was charming. It's spoken in the first person so if you spend read dialogue only, it may not appeal. The triumph of the human spirit & the honesty of true love is beautiful. Wellworth the read.
I couldn't stop listening to this one. Honeyman alternates seamlessly between laugh out loud social commentary and deep reflection on the impact of childhood trauma. So glad I finally gave in to all the recommendations and checked it out for myself. Wellworth it!
