From USA Today Best Selling Author

I was ruthless.
I was feared.
I had sacrificed. Myself. Her. Everything...

Living in a world where I was worth more dead than alive was a choice. I was a bad man, never claimed to be anything else. I’ve done things I’m not proud of. Seen things that can’t be unseen. I’ve caused pain that I can’t undo.
It was all my choice.
Every decision.
Every order.
Right and wrong never mattered.
Until her.
She was under my protection, until she became my obsession.
But who was going to save her...

From. Me. The devil himself.

Fate brought us together. Destiny destroyed us.

STANDALONE. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Full length novel.

Wow just loved the depth of this book. I'm not sure if it is part of a series but I will definitely be seeing if it is!
It's a book of love, family obligations, lust, betrayal and hope. It's a must read I couldn't put it down.
Will be checking this authors other books. Thank you M Robinson.

OMG... This was the most emotional book I have ever read. My heart was broken so many times, I am so glad it is finally over so I can get my life back. M. Robinson did an amazing job with this story, which I hated more than I loved, but it just sucked you in and spat you out at the end. You do not need to know anything about this before you read it... just read it.

El Diablo by Author M Robinson

This is a story where Love and Hate swings on the pendulum of life, living in harmony with each other until one consumes the other.

Martinez is a Bad Man and we are constantly reminded of this throughout the entire book. At one point I had to stop reading, close my kindle and just savour the hate that I felt for him. I was hopeful that M Robinson would redeem him soon but the hate just kept coming and coming. My only solace was knowing that M Robinson always writes a HEA but I was starting to wonder if this story was not going to follow her usual path. So I'm not going to tell you if it does or doesn't, your just going to have to read it yourself to find out..

Alejandro story begins as a teenager being raised with his sister, Amari, who he adores and would protect with his life, by his parents. His father wants nothing more than for Alejandro to follow in his footsteps and be just like him, feared. We are lead through his life and how the darkness consumed him until he becomes 'El Diablo'.

Lexi is the true Angel in this story. She had a hard start to life and her own demons to battle but throughout the story she becomes a strong and determined woman who does not bow down to anyone. She continually sees the good in Martinez even though he continually warns her that he is not a good man and repeatedly builds her up only to beat her back down again. She just can't seem to help herself and continually brings herself into is life. She is just so stubborn and continually sees the good in him.

Oh my GOD! The prologue is not even 1 page long and the angst commences.

"Eye for an eye, Alejandro. Justice is always made on the f***ing street."

So much happens in Alejandro's young life, forcing him to become a man much too soon. Characters, both past and present, are woven together to provide this trembler of a story this will turn into, shaking everyone to their very foundations.

"Even the devil was an angel once, Alejandro. It's only a matter of time until you become El Diablo , too."

And now begins the heartbreak. You think you are prepared for it, being a seasoned M. Robinson obsessed fan, but she is always one step ahead, plotting things that are truly unimaginable and mind-blowing, filling our hearts and minds with more surprises, suspense, drama, angst and crazy hot coupling.

Alejandro portrays himself as El Diablo, and some of the things he has had to do, are particularly heinous, he feels, and he feels deep. So deep, he will do anything to protect himself and what he perceives as his vulnerabilities. It is imperative, he believes, that none bear witness to his weaknesses.

"After this.... There was nothing left of me."

Martinez felt unworthy of love, for to love him and for him to return that love, would only lead to immense pain, unending suffering and total destruction. He vowed never to love again,. Therefore turning into the man he loathed with every fibre of his being. His padre.

"Don't knock on the devil's door, sweetheart, and expect him not to answer."

Lexi, Lexi, Lexi. I thought Briggs could not be bested, but Lexi stole my heart from the very first dance step. But while Lexi's young life was wretched, Alejandro's will leave you bleeding.

If I could give this book more than five stars I would. It was phenomenal!

I finished this beautiful, dark, and twisted love story last night. It's one of those angsty kind of books that has your emotions going in every direction, never staying in one certain mood for too long. The FEELS were everywhere. I was so taken my El Diablo/Alejandro's story that it's taken me almost 24 hours to collect my thoughts enough so that I can express them with words.

It starts with a boy who idolizes his father. He wants to be him, but he doesn't know who his father really is. He adores and protects the women in his life: his mother, his older sister, and his girl. Until a series of heartbreakingly tragic events force him to be the Devil himself. He's cruel and heartless. Never showing emotion, because let's face it, that's a weakness. Something he can't afford to have. Not when he can't trust anyone, and people want him dead.

Then we meet Lexi. Such a sweet little girl. Born into a life no child should ever have to face. At such a young age, her strength shines through. She miraculously survived all the crap that's thrown her way. Her dancing being a huge part of that. It's really the only time she feels truly alive. Once again life is harsh and who does she turn to, the one man she should run away from, but doesn't. She's inexplicably drawn to him and his dark soul. Only she can see the light trying to break through.

This is not a fairytale. It's not love at first sight. It's cruel. It's heartbreaking. It's twisted. But it's such an enthralling, endearing read at the same time. Like Lexi, you can't help but be drawn to Alejandro. He loves so very deeply. But his curse, is that he can NEVER show affection. If he loves someone, it means he can lose them.
