About the Author
Yogani is the author of the Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP) system, including more than a dozen Instructional Titles available in Paperback, Kindle eBook and AudioBook editions, covering all aspects of Full-Scope Yoga Practice. Since 1970, he has crossed the lines between many traditions, developing an effective integration of methods including Deep Meditation, Spinal Breathing Pranayama, Hatha, Kundalini, Tantra, Self-Inquiry, and more. It is a flexible, scientific approach rather than a rigid, arbitrary one, and open to public scrutiny, as all spiritual knowledge should be nowadays. He has no desire for guru status - only to have the joy of making a small contribution to helping the disciplines of spiritual practice become open to everyone. He wishes to remain anonymous, preserving a quiet life in practices. AYP is not about the author. It is about all who long for knowledge. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

SmallReviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 April 2020
Bit small. Ok intro I required more depth.
educatingReviewed in Canada on 9 December 2013
yogani explains how fundamental devotional practices can be traced to Patanjali and the sutras he put together 4000 years ago. How they all split into different practices used alone as spiritual tools. yogani has reunited them as one whole system for modern times.
Well written, butReviewed in the United States on 19 June 2014
Well written, but simply an outline of the structure of yoga and procedures that ayp utilizes. Fairly enough congruent with the book's title, but frankly i was expecting a little more learning (which I'm sure I'll do with other ayp books).

Brings it all togetherReviewed in the United States on 31 March 2012
Have been working with yoga and meditation for years but always thought of them as separate things. This books brings it all together. I would recommend this book to anyone working with self-cultivation.
