Very much impressed by the music quality ,the sound is clear and crisp. The sound quality is comparable to my Denon HEOS 5 speaker and the Yamaha digital radio tuner which broadcast music in CD like quality.
When you oonsider the price of Echo link which is half the price of reputable brand like Denon HEOS HS2 link . It gives value for money
It has a couple of issues, however. Firsly, in Australia we don't have access to Amazon music HD, so for getting high quality audio we need to subscribe to other music streaming apps. Secondly, Tidal is not fully supported. The internal dac in amazon echo link does not support MQA files and also the tidal app is so primitive compared to amazon music and spotify. Thirdly, unlike other echo speakers, echo link is not compatible with home cinema setup through Alexa app. Why on earth they haven't made it possible is unclear to me since it has wifi connection, it is connected to good speakers, so why shouldn't we be able to connect it to the Fire Tv via wifi?
I believe amazon should respect the customers and either correct this issues or stop selling it.
