Product Description

The Boudreaux Series. Sexy. Intriguing. Easy. Simon Danbury, an internationally sought after motivational speaker, helps women from all walks of life with love, self-esteem, dating and career building skills. Handsome, witty and wealthy, Simon seemingly has everything a man could want. But appearances can be deceiving. While Simon may have the answers for millions of women all over the world, when it comes to his own love life, he’s a giant, sexy mess. Divorced, and convinced that he’ll never love again, the very last thing he expects is one Charly Boudreaux. Charly doesn’t want to be at this seminar in the middle of nowhere, but her sister made her go. She’s the one who has her life together. Great career, amazing family, nice home, and loyal friends. So what if she doesn’t have a man? She doesn’t need one. If she’s learned anything in her almost thirty years, it’s that men are more trouble than they’re worth. And they have a nasty habit of breaking your heart into a million tiny pieces. So she’ll sit through all of Simon’s touchy feely crap and go home and get on with her life. Except Simon isn’t really spouting crap, and when he smiles at her, the butterflies are ridiculous. Never mixing business with pleasure, Simon finds Charly, a bright spot in a universe that’s been dark for too long. But will he be able to resist her? And why would he want to?

Easy Kisses is the fourth novel in the Boudreaux Series and another fabulous book by Kristen Proby. I have read and enjoyed them all. There are six Boudreaux siblings and this is Charlotte's story...
Charly (Charlotte) Boudreaux attends a self-help/empowerment seminar run by the sexy, British Simon Danbury and sparks fly between the pair. While trying to remain professional and deny their feelings to begin with, they soon end up having a weekend of passion together. Naturally, once the seminar is over, real life settles in that not only do they not live in the same city, but neither to do they live in the same country. So, Simon and Charly might have off the charts chemistry when it comes to the bedroom but when it gets down to the real they have what it takes? Simon might be a motivational speaker but he still has his own issues to work out. Charly is an independent, strong, loving, and stubborn chik. Together, they are hot, fun, beautiful and of course dramatic couple. The growth of their characters is lovely, and glimpses of the past Boudreaux characters and their significant others make this a fun read.
Kristen Proby delivers in this sweet, charming, loveable romantic read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Charly & Simon 18 April 2017
By Julie H - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - This is Charly Boudreaux's story, the heel queen of New Orleans, as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery to Montana for a seminar, something better suited for her sister Van. Simon is the hot British sweetheart running the seminar, building his techniques after years of trying to help his ex-wife, and oh boy, that woman has some serious issues! Soon Simon's training becomes a little more "hands-on" & really unprofessional, but very hot! Simon tries to stay away & write it off as just a fling but he follows her to her home turf & they develop deep affection for each other. This is not my favorite story about a Boudreaux sibling, the angst seems to be made up & comes out of nowhere. And that is really Simon's issue, that he hasn't dealt with his past & it is hurting his new relationship with Charly. He has to deal with his family before coming back begging for Charly's forgiveness. It was really Charly's attitude about his marriage that helps him confront his fears. The moral being that you can confront your past & develop a healthy relationship moving forward, learning from your mistakes. And Simon can admit when he's wrong, and do his best to make it up to Charly. Very hot couple and a nice story but not my favorite.

Kristen Proby has once again stolen my heart with book four in her Boudreaux series, Easy Kisses. She once again has created another beautiful story developed in an amazing world, I can't help but want to live in. I love how Kristen entwines all of her previous characters into one complete story, while weaving future plots about characters to come.

As a fan of this series, I met Charlie Boudreaux in the previous books. I knew her as the spunky, independent, headstrong woman who ran her business like no other. Women love the shoes she sells and she is quite a successful business owner in thr French Quarter. This book brought Charlie to a whole new level.

As a favor to her sister, Charlie goes to a conference to help women with love, self-esteem, dating and career choices. It is put on by Simon Danbury, an internationally renowned motivational speaker. Charlie is determined to endure this conference, so that she can see if the lessons learned will help her sister. What she gets out of it is far more than she ever dreamed.

Simon Danbury may have all the answers for women around the world, but his personal life is nothing but a gigantic mess. When he meets sassy, independent and successful business owner Charlie Boudreaux, she tilts his world like no other. Will he take his own advice before the force of Nature, known as Charlie leaves him in the dust?

I couldn't get enough of this amazing story. I love each of the characters, the sense of family and this entire series. I can't wait to read more from Kristen Proby and see how this series continues!

PS- The audio version of this book only enhanced Kristen's brilliant work. Sebastian York and Rachel Fulginiti only enhance this story. They did another phenomenal job with the narration!

4.0 out of 5 stars Another Boudreaux Winner!! 24 June 2016

I love this series and honestly, a Kristen Proby book is like comfort food, so rich and yummy and hits all the senses. This is the 4th book in the series and centers around Charlotte (Charly) Boudreaux. She is fiercely independent and successful. The story begins with Charly attending a self-help seminar in Montana for two weeks. The speaker for the retreat is Simon Danbury, he is gorgeous and sexy. He is also smitten with Charly and wants to keep a professional distance from her but is finding this strategy more difficult as their time at the retreat comes to an end. Charly is also fighting her attraction and soon the two give in and share a wonderful weekend together. Unfortunately, reality sinks in and the two part ways without exchanging any contact information. They believe it is for the best since his home is in London and hers in New Orleans.

But weeks pass and the two are missing one another and Simon decides to surprise Charly, and she welcomes him along with her family. He decides to stay a little longer with her as he wants to pursue a relationship, but is also scared because he was once married and the marriage ended with deception on his ex-wife's part which has caused him to have trust issues. Their relationship is moving along and both want to tell the other that they have fallen in love, but their trust has been tested.

I won't give away any details, but I can say that this was a fun and indulgent read and I look forward to Beau's story.
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy Kisses is full of sass 27 June 2016

Easy Kisses is full of sass, charm, broken trust and forgiveness. Charlotte (aka Charly) and Simon discover they're not just ships passing in the night, they're anchored to each other deeper than either one realizes, a fact they learn too little too late.

Both characters are strong willed with personal issues they try to handle alone even though they don't have to. Surrounded by supportive family and friends, they learn trusting and relying on others isn't a weakness but a strength that only enhances the relationships they have together and with others.

This story touches on the tough topic of emotional abuse with (for me) an unusual role reversal in a romance book-it's the hero who has suffered instead of the heroine. Proby handles it with honesty and grace but doesn't shy away from the problems it causes Charly and Simon.

All in all, I really enjoyed the book-not too angsty but just enough drama with the tough topics, steamy sex with a bossy Brit, zany family antics..there's never a dull moment with the Boudreaux family!

This is Carly's story. Carly has built a wall around her because she feels that in order to be in love she has to have "love at first sight" that is what she believed her father told her. Her sister send her to a women's conference and she see Simon who happens to be the host. She fights the attraction and right away tells herself it will not work. Simon also feels the attraction but will not let anything happen because it would not be professional. They final give in and have an amazing time together even staying past the conference end. They say good bye at the end and Carly "says" she is okay with that but she cannot get Simon out of her mind. Simon is the same and eventually he comes to find her. Again, they have an amazing time until Sion lets his past experience cloud his judgement and Carly then second guesses her decision to let Simon in. Will they but realize they have true feelings, will they be able to trust each other. I loved this book and I don't want to give anything else away. You need to read this series, you will not be disappointed.
