I purchased this product because my existing one was scraping the tiled floor as the brush head seemed to have worn down. When I first received the replacement it fitted beautifully and seemed really good as the brush head was a lot higher than my original one, however, after the first use I noticed that again the scraping noise occurred on the tiled floor. An examination showed that the brush head seemed very loose and flopped up and down when changed from hard floors to carpeting causing the scraping noise. Disappointing, as I had already disposed of my original one.

I received the item, but it didn't fit my Miele so I contacted the seller and he offered to send me the adaptor free of charge which arrived yesterday and fits beautifully. The vacuum head itself worked well. I hope it lasts long enough.

I've had this unit for 6 months and the more I use it the less I enjoy vacuuming. The high reviews for this head I just don't understand, people must have pretty low expectations. It's really hard to think of any pros about this unit other than the price. Here is my 6 month assessment. As a note, I have a very powerful inbuilt vacuum system, suction power is not remotely an issue.
Pros:
-Price
Cons:
-the head has a very small 1"x2" section that collects stuff, it's not spread out. For that they have two small shallow channels that run to the sides. These channels are so shallow they essentially do nothing, anything larger than a grain of salt will not fit in them. So unless you're inline with the center of the unit, little to nothing.
-The non sweeper setting has bare metal, which is terrible for hardwood floors and makes a racket on tiles. I've had to put duct tape on parts of the bottom to stop it from scratching my wood floors.
-The sweeper setting has very short, very tightly packed, non flexible bristles. On a carpet with any decent pile this this is like trying to vacuum in 4 inches of mud. It barely moves.
-There are virtually no spaces between the bristles, so using sweeper mode on anything other than carpet just pushes stuff around, there is not enough gaps to let things through.

Seriously, this thing is aweful. My 25 year old has that came with the unit works better, and it's not great.

I actually prefer this one to the original Miele multifloor tool. This one also does come with the adapter from 32 to 35mm to be used on the miele's and sharks. Its 1/5th the price of the Miele tool and works every bit as well on both carpets and floors. Keep in mind that on carpets you should turn your vacuum motor down a bit as straight suction will hold it to the carpet if your at max motor. So if you have carpets and a very powerful vacuum that you can't adjust keep in mind it will be hard to slide. Suction does that.

Don't waste your money

I didn't think you could go wrong with a universal hard floor vacuum attachment, but I was sadly mistaken. This thing is absolutely useless. All it does is grab the pet hairs and drag them around. In order to vacuum semi-effectively, every couple minutes I have to pick the hairs from the bristles and either throw in the garbage or manually feed to the vacuum.

I dont know what people giving bad review to this product. this is 3x cheaper than the real one and does a great job. we have 6 years of vacuuming nightly job. normally these cheaper vacuum head are light weight and break so fast but this one is holding up just like the real Numatic vacuum head.

I have a BISSELL CleanView II Bagless Canister Vaccuum. The OEM brush head had cracked at the elbow joint. Bought this as a replacement. It is more compact than the original and with a smaller mouth has a stronger suction. Plastic is of good quality and the unit weighs just right. Brushes are great too.

PS It doesn't have wheels.
