Games thease days require cards with more VRAM and the ability to run DX12
That's exactly what I needed.
The card is very quiet & will run the following games in HIGH&ULTRA settings,
provived you have 8-12Gigs of RAM
Skyrim & Skyrim special edition
Lords of the Fallen
The Long Dark
Styx:Master of Shadows
My rig has a mobo and CPU that are over 6 years old so with that I have a SOLID 35-45fps with GTA5 on ULTRA,
a newer build would run it with this card at 45-60fps EASY.
Hope this review helped. Good luck building that rig.
It worked so well on the family PC, I bought another and put one in my own older PC, and its worked fantastically there as well. I'm not a big gamer, so I haven't run bench tests or couldn't give you specs the way a gamer would, but for my satisfaction I the games all run perfectly and look great. So far we've run Unreal Tournament, Fortnight, Overwatch, Doom, Witcher3, and others... no issues.
Definitely recommended for someone who wants to dip their toe into PC gaming without breaking the bank.
I paired this card with:
MSI H110M Pro-VD motherboard
HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR4-2133 (1 stick)
Kingston Digital 120GB SSD (very cheap and works well)
2TB WD Green HD
