Dyson connected machines are engineered to be part of your Smart Home. And enabling this skill allows Amazon Alexa to link with them. That way you’re in control using just your voice.
To get started, select ‘Enable’ above and enter your Dyson Link app login details.
Once you’re linked to the Dyson skill, you can automate multiple actions using single voice commands of your choice. These are known as Routines in Alexa and can be things like switching your robot vacuum to quiet mode while you watch the television, just by saying “Alexa, TV on”. Or setting your air treatment machine to ‘Night Mode’ together with turning off lights, simply by saying “Alexa, goodnight”.
Try using these voice commands:
“Alexa, increase fan speed on Purifier” “Alexa, turn on Robot” “Alexa, set mode to Quiet on Robot” “Alexa, set Oscillation to Narrow on Purifier”
Amazon Alexa Smart Home works with the following Dyson air treatment machines and robot vacuums:
- Dyson Pure Cool Link™ purifying fan (TP02) - Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ purifying fan heater (HP02) - Dyson Pure Cool™ purifying fan (TP04 + DP04) - Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifying fan heater (HP04) - Dyson Pure Cool™ Cryptomic purifying fan (TP06) - Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ Cryptomic purifying fan heater (HP06) - Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool™ purifying humidifying fan (PH01) - Dyson 360 Eye™ - Dyson 360 Heurist™

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It does the job, but the Dyson skill does not integrate with Alexa Smart Home. As a result, you have to preface all of your commands with "ask Dyson" instead of being able to ask Alexa directly, which really isn't ideal – and you can't make Routines that control your Dyson devices.
Now that i can finally use this in Australia (en-AU) I can write a review. I've just used the skill for basic functionality; turn on, turn off, get current humidity, etc. The fact that it does not get 'properly' setup as a Smarthome device means that you can't use it in Routines. For example, I have a 'leaving home' Routine that turns off my lights and turns off my air-con (via a Sensibo controller that shows up in the Alexa Smarthome devices as a thermostat). Unfortunately it can't also turn off the Dyson in the same Routine. i have to separately ask Dyson to turn off. Hopefully Dyson devs read these reviews and rectify this.
I got the phone app (Amazon Alexa) - it sees Echo Show (Online), Alexa on This Phone (Online) and Dyson (which o and the desktop view of Smart Home to see the Dyson device (Dyson Pure Hot + Cool) the Echo Show 5 can respond to voice commands for it also ... but on the Echo Show 5 > Smart Home it can't see it and claims No devices found ... even after using "Alexa, Discover Devices" how? ... and you can still get the Echo to voice control the Dyson?
The controls I can see on the phone app: Power (On, Off) Fan Speed (1 to 10) Temperature (1 to 37 C) Oscillation Mode (narrow, normal, wide, full) Night (On, Off) Heat (On, Off) Auto (On, Off) Oscillate (On, Off)
Create A Routine
I can Edit Name - it was by default named after the room name
That was part of the point of getting the Echo Show in the first place.
I haven't attempted many voice commands yet but so far it has been hit and miss - similar to some of the other comments here.
it now works with an Au account, you need to link it to the registered Alexa device account. you also need to use the correct commands. after linking the device i used the alexa talk to dyson command and that was the only way i knew it works
I waited 2 hours of my life trying to set it all up read all the reviews updated everything 2 hours of my life gone let Dyson send me an email and get the problem going not me they stuffed up stupid app
