About the Author
Teri Woods is the author of numerous books in the urban fiction genre, which have been praised by Essence magazine and Publishers Weekly. She is a native of Philadelphia where she worked as a legal secretary and paralegal for eight years. She started writing True to the Game in 1993 and began submitting it to publishers in 1994. Soon she started her own publishing and production company, Meow Meow Productions, now called Teri Woods Publishing.

The story goes back and forth from the present to the past of how Dutch at a young age of 14 begin his life of crime. Very smart and gifted young fellow with a lot of knowledge felt school was not a choice. Being well known in the streets was his claim to fame.
After being locked up for car theft, Dutch was release much smarter and a force to be reckon with. Going back to being a stick up kid and stealing a cars was not an option anymore. With his affiliation with the mob and his crew, Angel, Craze, Qwan, Roc, and Zoom they were destined to take over the streets of Newark. Going after the the notorious Nigerian drug king Ojiugo Kamazi and his henchmen, was like taking candy from a baby. Nonetheless Dutch kept it gangsta.
Will Dutch serve a prison sentence? Or will there be loop holes in the testimonies that were presented in court and he gets away scott free. You will have to read the book to have these questions answered.
Dutch: The First of a Trilogy (Dutch Trilogy) is a very fast paced made for TV mob story. I enjoyed this story and it did keep me reading to the very end, even though I came across some grammatical errors throughout my reading. All in all it was pretty good.
Reader's Paradise Book Club
This book is fast, gansta and it rocks like no other book I've read. It was so real that as I read the words, I saw the scene as if though watching a movie.
Have to get the others. If you want a book that is urban, gansta and fantastic, get Dutch.
