Why? Well, a bit more insightful, a bit more philosophical and, even though sticking to his tried and tested humor devices, a bit funnier than, say, “Dry Hard” or “Bricking It”, both of which is still recommend.
Read this and maybe you’ll see my point. Either way, read it. It’s great.
I was actually laughing out loud all the way through the book.
As someone who normally reads historical murder mysterys or Steven King
This was such a good surprise
I will definitely be looking at and reading more from this amazing authour

This is very different to the usual genre I read, but I needed something light hearted and fun to read for a change.
This was exactly what I needed and more. Romance novels written from a female perspective get predictable and dull. This was neither.
Reading a man's perspective on love, I couldn't relate with the details because I'm not a man. But the story was so relatable on a human level. It was ridiculous and far fetched but some how real and believable at the same time.
Reading the premise of the book, I got the general idea of the story, but I had no idea it would take me on such a wonderful journey. I have been telling everyone about this book and raving about how funny it is.
It normally takes me months to read a book, but I finished this in a week, and I'll be looking for more books by Nick Spalding.
I would highly recommend this book if you're looking for a light hearted easy read. Enjoy!
The story has identifiable characters to whom we can relate, and such rhetorical comments as almost got me nodding my responses. The varied settings are so convincingly described so as to leave you without the slightest vagary concerning the setting.
Ut contains a lot of reflective thoughts, such as most of us may have contemplated at some piunt in our lives, but, ultimately concludes with a positive affirmation and resolve from the leading character, about whom this very funny book reveals his recovery from being Dumped, Actually!
