FROM EXCITING AUTHOR OF LGBTQ+ ROMANCE M.C. ROTH
A brush with death delivers Ian into Trent’s life, but there’s more to Ian than he shares—a hidden life, a hidden career and secrets that may tear them apart.
When Trent is almost hit by a swerving Corvette, he has no idea that the driver will change his life forever.
Freezing cold and soaked, Trent pulls the strikingly attractive Ian from the wreckage. Ian is everything Trent has been looking for in a man—beautiful, sexy—and he needs a place to stay for the weekend.
Trent is out and proud, and he prays he can keep his hands to himself with the gorgeous man under his roof. But Ian is the one who follows Trent into the shower, shows him things that Trent never imagined and takes the final thread of Trent’s virginity.
After a weekend of passion, Trent finds himself falling for Ian, even though they live a country apart. But there is more to Ian than what he says. A hidden life, a hidden career and more lies than Trent can imagine.
Ian’s secrets may tear their hearts to pieces—or transform their desires into something more.

About the author

M.C. Roth lives in Canada and loves every season, even the dreaded Canadian winter. She graduated with honours from the Associate Diploma Program in Veterinary Technology at the University of Guelph before choosing a different career path.
Between caring for her young son, spending time with her husband, and feeding treats to her menagerie of animals, she still spends every spare second devoted to her passion for writing.
She loves growing peppers that are hot enough to make grown men cry, but she doesn’t like spicy food herself. Her favourite thing, other than writing of course, is to find a quiet place in the wilderness and listen to the birds while dreaming about the gorgeous men in her head.

Trent and Ian are great characters who meet after Ian crashes his car and Trent takes him home, where the real chemistry begins between them. The progression of their relationship felt real and Trent’s ‘take no prisoners’ mum and friend Candace were wonderful secondary characters. I felt for Trent because as much as Ian was attracted to him he always seemed to hold him at arm's length and not fully invest in the relationship, and the fact that I wanted to smack him and tell him to stop messing Trent around tells me that the author wrote a good story that had me invested in the characters.
I would have liked more details about where Trent lived, even if it was a made-up town name and more about Ian’s background and what made him the way he was but that is minor and didn’t stop my enjoyment of the book.
This was an easy to read story with a lot of heat, some angst and a happy ending. I will be looking for more from this author.
I received an ARC of this book to review and this is my honest and voluntary opinion.
From the first page I was hooked I couldn’t put the book down , reading in Brisbane Australia on a cold, wet winter day during a lockdown .
Everything about this book is flawless, a well grounded storyline with characters that I wanted to keep.
I don’t want to give anything away as the reader needs to have a clear head to absorb every word written.
There is so much humour and banter between them that I was laughing out loud , and a lot of chuckles.
Trent & Ian meet in very different circumstances , Ian stayed the night ~~~~
Many emotions between Trent and Ian ~~ so many from me !
Trent’s friend Candace is hilarious I think everyone wants a friend like her.
The sexual scenes are wonderful to read with so many feelings growing between Trent and Ian also me .
Candace all her openness , her kindness was wonderful also had me in fits of giggles.
Trent’s and Ian’s togetherness is extremely sensual giving each other what they need .
The ending was 100% perfection, left me with a grin similar to a Cheshire Cat.
I will definitely recommend this wonderful book.
Much more than five stars.
A fantastic start as dramatics as Trent witness a car accident, yah a great way to get me into the book. It progresses and Ian meets Trent's ladies..who just happened to be the feathered variety. Both MCs get along great if not a little awkward especially Trent with his speaking without thinking first.. Includes fast attraction, virgin, closeted, second chances, and sexy scenes and more. A fantastic ending for these guys. The emotions coming from Trent as he dearly loved Ian. Told in 3rd person with Trent being the main character in play in the story. While this had a lot of sexy scenes it also has the dramas side of the story of Ian being in a band touring around.
Trent 34 yrs was a out a proud gay, when he helps out a stranded stranger, Ian after he'd crashed.

Ian is a rockstar, on a road trip alone. When a heavy rainstorm makes him lose control of his car, he almost hits Trent. Trent takes Ian in and they soon fall into bed together. He doesn't know who Ian is. When one night turns into two and then into more, can he walk away when he learns who Ian really is?
This book was just too fast for me. There was no real chemistry development between the MCs and the story was so fast-paced, that it was a little bit hard to develop chemistry with the characters.
*I received this book as an ARC. I chose to leave an honest reivew.*
