Charlie Halverston is the benefactor of Declan's Defenders she is the one that pays their bills allowing them to do there work so when she has to attend a gala you can bet at least one of them attends as a bodyguard and this time it is Augustus “Gus” Walsh to do the honours. So when he sees a stunning woman in a black dress watching Charlie he is instantly alert and when that woman tries to get Charlie away from the gala yes well that isn't happening.
