Product Description

"Stryker"
I’m a drifter.
A man born to ride through this world alone.
There used to be a time when I thought I was the rescuing type. I enlisted in the Marines and made it my duty—I was going to save lives.
I was going to be a true American hero.
But God had another plan.
Or maybe Satan did.
For everything I touch finds mortality.
I’m no hero.
I’m nothing.
I’m a veteran biker, a former nomad who survived war only to live in hell.
Now I ride with the Satan’s Knights of Brooklyn and I’m drifting into a different kind of chaos.
The kind that revolves around a pretty girl with intoxicating green eyes.
A girl who has the power to turn me inside out.
A girl who doesn’t need anyone to rescue her because she’s her own savior.
Until she’s not.
But a man plagued by war and the devil inside him can never be her hero.

Gina Spinelli

Strong. Independent. Fierce.
They are the three things I strived to be.
But sometimes being successful can be lonely.
Sometimes a girl just wants to be a girl and have someone take care of her.
Maybe even love her.
Sometimes the strong become vulnerable.
Or worse, the victor becomes the victim.
Sometimes we lose control or in my case it’s stripped from you.
Defeated. Broken. Haunted.
They are the three things I have become.
In my darkest hour I admit defeat.
In my darkest hour I need one person.
I need him.
Stryker.

What a ride this author takes you on!

This is a very different type of MC book yet meets all the criteria well. Satan's Knights MC are a true family where everyone has each other's backs.

Stryker was a nomad until he joined the Brooklyn club branch and cemented his allegiance early on. Gina is the sister of a young mob boss but successful through her own hard work as a stockbroker. Working with and competing against men every day has strengthened Gina and made her determined to do well. The chance meeting of these two lead characters is the beginning of a sensual love story.

Through very clear descriptions readers are able to visualise the story and empathise with each character. There is a full range of emotions in play from happiness to anger and fear. Janine Infante Bosco really knows how to entertain and seeing as this is the first book by this author I have read I can guarantee it won't be the last, in fact I'm about to read the next book in the series!

Gut wrenching beautiful. For those people who love the MC genre this book is a must and for those that don't, take a chance for this book is a little different, it's written so beautifully, it's raw, gritty, emotionally personal with a hero that makes you want to wrap your arms around him and whisper "I've got you".

Reviewed on behalf of A Book Lover's Emporium

Drifter by Janine Infante Bosco, promised to be a hot, dirty and dark read and it delivered. A famous line from that Tom Cruise movie, "You had me at hello" is fitting to justify my 5 star rating, however you need to swich out "Hello" with "Former Marine/ Biker and Sassy Heroine". Stryker and Gina are both strong characters who are so well developed they are as realistic as you and I.

Drifter isn't for the faint of heart. There are some confronting scenes and issues dealt with in this book. I found myself preparing for what was the inevitable. Knowing, yet not knowing, what was to come as the author cleverly used a flash forward to set the scene and tone of the book. Bosco was honest when in her author notes she states that her book isn't a fairytale, but a realistic interpretation of the world we live in. I found myself thinking about the story when going about my daily routine, a sure sign that a novel is thought provoking and true to life.

I enjoyed the fast pace story and authentic setting delivered to us in Drifter. Having just returned from a New York holiday, I was transported back there with the author's description of the city that never sleeps, in particular the scene at the twin tower footprints. Having been there and experiencing the atmosphere first hand I had goosebumps when reading the epilogue.

I am eagerly anticipating the second book in this series, as although Drifter isn't a cliffhanger, Stryker and Gina are sure to feature in future books in The Nomad Series.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW 5 April 2017
By Dee Winston - Published on Amazon.com

This was a great read. I thought this was going to be your typical MC book, but it was much more. Stryker a vet who ends up joining a motorcycle club just exist. He does what he's told but he's not living. until he sees her eyes and lightning strikes. Gina a stockbroker surviving in a boys world turns his world. But he can't seem to get pass his own demons, until tragic strikes his Pretty girl.. Then he moves heaven and earth to get her back to herself and him. This was an emotional book. It had me in tears a couple times. It goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover, family is doesn't always have to be blood and you can survive. I loved this book

I love Janine and it's not because we have the same name, are both from the north (It might be both those things but I'll never really tell) and she's just so darn good at what she writes. I absolutely loved her book Drifter. I didn't read it because I had to review it, I didn't get asked to read it...I just did it for pleasure. PURE PLEASURE!!! Can I tell you that it was better than chocolate? It was. It was better than having a man around but then again book boyfriends usually are. Stryker is one of those characters that grips you from the first page and doesn't let go. He just has so many demons he's fighting and he's doing it on his own. He doesn't want to hurt anyone and I dang near cried when he went through all the things he did (I'm not giving you any spoilers - read it yo self!!) So, everyone is fawning over the cover of this book and that's great because as a person Matthew is awesome but and here's my but...JANINE IS AN AWESOME WRITER!!! Don't forget that. You might buy the book for the cover because let's be honest, some people do but she's got some writing chops. I met her at a signing and she's just as real as she writes on paper. My final thoughts on this book are this...if you aren't 18 - you've been warned that this isn't for the faint of heart. There are topics in this book that are potential triggers for someone that is young but also for those that have been assaulted. I'm throwing that out there because it can cause you to have flashbacks. PTSD is real, it attacks a staggering number of people. This author did an awesome job portraying that. She is now amongst my top 5 authors that I will buy NO matter what and that's saying something. I don't take reviews lightly. If I don't like your book, I either don't review or if I'm asked to, I give a true rating. However, this was my unicorn....

5.0 out of 5 stars Drifter is Explosive 26 May 2017
By LettyT - Published on Amazon.com

How am I only reviewing this book now???? I've had it for months and didn't realize I hadn't reviewed it. First off, I love everything letter, word, and sentence this author has ever written. She writes gritty books about Motorcycle Clubs, Mafia, and sometimes combines the two.

Drifter is about a nomad biker named Stryker who joins a New York chapter of a club. There, he meets Gina Spinelli, the daughter of a mob boss who has connections to the club. Each have demons inside that they battle and a chemistry they know they shouldn't explore. Sometimes, though when sparks fly it's hard to stay out its path. Sometimes when you do let it consume you, it's beyond explosive. That is exactly what this book does, it will consume you.

5.0 out of 5 stars another great read! Gina and Stryker's story is one you ... 15 March 2017

Janine has done it again, another great read! Gina and Stryker's story is one you do not want to miss. I was hooked from the beginning. It may not be for everyone as it does have its dark moments but for me the love that evolves is worth the emotions you feel to get to the end. I am now going to read the next book in this series.
Thank you Janine!!!
