So he cheats, not a good idea with who & when. She takes the honeymoon & disappears with Galen. Mother on her case, BFF there for her. It's hot & sexy & it's not just the location.
A nice book to escape with not too angsty or heartbreaking, it's more about discovery.

I enjoyed down for the count and the sex scenes were very hot. However I could not click with Lacey or Galen, they lacked a certain something for me and I think it was angst!!! I hate books with too much angst but I also find books where there are cheesey lines and public declarations of love too much. The storyline is very predictable but I can't go lower on stars for that because I like to pick up books sometimes that you know that there will be an happy ever after.
Galen and Lacey were easy to love. Being a boxer, Galen has a touch of the buff bad boy, but he is kindhearted, warm, a romantic and he oozes appeal on every level. Lacey, finding her husband in an inappropriate way with one of her best friends 2 hours after their wedding, is hurt and full of self doubt but hidden away is a strong woman who just needs a helping hand with her confidence and a good man to show her.
To summise, I loved this and can thoroughly recommend it.
Sorry to be cryptic but I don't like giving story lines away.
Definite 3 and a half stars.
I've just reread this and realized how well-written it is and how it's really worth 4 stars.
