Product Description

Emily’s life had three basic rules, love her family fiercely. Never expect forever and most importantly, shield her heart from pain. At a tender age she had learned love is not forever, sex destroys and if you don’t invest your heart, it can never be broken. She played life safe.
All it takes though, is one moment, a defining light in the perpetual darkness to bring life into your heart. For Emily, it was a night she would never forget, an ordinary evening of dancing, drinking and if she was in the mood, a brief one night stand. But then he beguiled her. His emerald eyes captivated and enslaved her to him.
What Emily didn’t anticipate was the mysterious giant to sit beside her and rock her foundations. His dirty mouth and sexy innuendos intrigued her. The green eyed Adonis took her for the ride of her life, on his motorbike. One she would never forget. He intertwined himself into her life and captured her soul.
But the illusion of beauty can hide a broken past. And as the lovers fall deeper, the darkness leeches into the light, suffocating and destroying all within its path. Until there is nothing left but betrayal and shattered hearts.

* This is the third book in the Surviving Series but can be read as a standalone.
**Due to sexual content, it may not be suitable for readers under the age of 18 years of age.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, Heartbreaking, Angsty and Phenomenal. This Series Just Keeps Getting Better And Better! 11 February 2015

5 Glorious, Amazing Stars!
The Review:
I LOVED this book. I experienced a tidal wave of different emotions while reading it and felt like I’d been put on the spin cycle and I didn’t get off until the very end. There was a lot happening in this book but the author blends the stories and character in perfectly to make one outstanding read that I just couldn't put down!

Double Betrayal is full of spectacular writing, angsty emotions, amazing character building, fantastic plot elements...all surrounding a sweet and steamy romance. Will and Em’s introduction starts out as a burning, passionate fire that never lets up. Even when they were at odd, there was still that intensity between them that made you both want to scream at them to get their heads on straight and weep for them because they were hurting so much. I loved every spectrum of emotion this author pulled from me while reading their story.

Em’s past is painful and steeped in the worst kind of betrayal. She doesn’t trust. She doesn’t look for love. She just exists, giving the best life she can to the one person who means everything to her. When Will walks into her life, she sees him as another one night stand. A gorgeous one night stand, but a one night stand nonetheless. However, Will sneaks past her defenses and together, they work towards finding something real and something true.

Will’s past isn’t submerged in the happily-ever-after he thought he would get when me married his childhood sweetheart. He’s been betrayed and lied to and hurt and when he sees Em, suddenly he can breath again. But like her, he’s insistent that love isn’t in his future ever again.

I loved watching these two succumb to their desires, their feelings and eventually their love for one another. The passion was intense, the romance was sweet and the banter back and forth between them was just perfect.

We also have returning characters who I absolutely adore. Johan’s story from book two has finally seen the happiness you ached for him to have as he and Lou live out their HEA. Dom and Eve are building a family and everyone seems to be getting the life they deserve. After so much heartbreak and past pain, it was beautiful to see the friendships and family they’d built within this authors world. I loved all the little pieces we get into their lives.

The Wrap Up:
This story was filled to the rim with forward movement. At no time did I ever get bored or bogged down. I teared up, I laughed, I got butterflies. It was hot, it was sweet, it was romantic, it was intense, it was heartbreaking, it was funny, it was EVERYTHING. Name an emotion and I had it during this read. It was perfect!

Ada Frost has outdone herself. This one will definitely sit at the top of my favorites for 2015! I can’t wait for the next book and Ryan’s story!

5.0 out of 5 stars Will Senior is the most Sweetest,Sexiest,Naughty Mouth Man I Think I Have Ever Read! 30 January 2015
By I Heart YA Books - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Ada Frost just threw me a heck of a delicious curve ball with Will Senior's character. I met Will in Johan's story (book two) and I had in my mind decided with who Will's character was going to be; a beautiful, sexy, kind of shy and on the broody side, man. So imagine my surprise when I started reading Double Betrayal and Will was not what I had in mind. I literally read the first few chapters with my mouth hanging open and definitely drooling with my eyes as big as saucers. OMG, Will is totally the opposite of what I thought he would be and all I can say is: Thank you, Ada Frost, for this beautiful giant of a man! Will is the most hottest, sexiest, sweetest, dirty talking man with his sexy innuendos I think I had ever read. I was fanning myself like crazy, and I will never look at a motorcycle again without thinking of Will Senior, dayyyum that was a HOT scene! I would love to of have been Em (Emily) *wink*

I will try to get my thoughts off the smexy and back to the review of Will and Em's story now. Em (Emily)…I have to say I'm so jealous of her, because she has Will. But, I still love her. Em is a strong, feisty, and kind of guarded, which I can easily identify with her character. Em has gone through a heartbreaking betrayal to come out with a wall built around her heart, and she lives by three rules now: love her family fiercely, never expect a forever, and protect her heart from pain. Which means men are only one-night stand. Yes, Em is a tough woman, but Will—the beautiful giant Adonis—might be just as tough and the man to bring that wall down. Will’s has his own betrayal that has hardened him. He lives his life in booze and women. So when these two hearts collide, they are hit hard, and all the rules are going to crash and burn.

I loved that Ada Frost brought back Dominic and Eve from book one, and Johan and Lou form book two, so readers could still see where their stories are taking them in their relationships. I also loved the new characters we meet in Will and Em's story of Double Betrayal and they are Em's gorgeous brothers Acis and Cas (Castor). Yep, Ada Frost just made more writing work for herself, because these two guys are heartthrobs and I have to beg for their stories. But, I'm so glad that the next story in the Surviving series is going to be Ryan's. I have been waiting anxiously for Ryan's story. Ryan is a heartbreaker and I fell in love with this broken man, head over heels, deeply.

I can't express in words how much I love Ada Frost’s Surviving series, and the love I have for all these beautiful characters. She’s one awesome, talented storyteller. I can only tell you that if you haven't been reading the Surviving series, than I highly recommend that you do. Definitely a must, must read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some good writing 11 July 2015
By Smut Lover - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Plot: C
This book was totally awesome, and going to get 4.5 stars until about 75% when Will pulls a douche move to "protect" Emily. That part really upset me, and I never recovered considering what and how it played out, and who all was involved. I really felt for Emily. During that part of the book, there was some heart wrenching stuff that happened that gave me a case of the feels. Somewhere in there I got dirt in my eye, because it started watering. Everything worked out, I suppose. But, things could have been better resolved in the epilogue. And the book doesn't end on a happy note... a setup for the next book. Also, this book was a little too long.
Characters: B-
I liked Will and Emily's characters. I liked how even though they were both a bit damaged, and had some messed up things happen to them, they let each other in. I thought that Emily was a great person for how she lived her life. She was a tad prideful, but I understood why she didn't want to rick the boat. I loved Will's character for the most part. I loved how possessive he was. How he was demanding. But he also had a mix of shyness that was endearing. The last 25% of the book he was in the doghouse with me, and i still never really recovered.
Heat: B
This book had some pretty good heat. There was some dirty talk, and descriptive scenes. And Will was all extra demanding. I loved it

Overall, this was a pretty decent book. It gave me a case of the feels, which this author is good at doing. I look forward to reading the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hottest Book in the Series! 29 January 2015
By Linda K. - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I think my feelings have whiplash! I love books that cover an entire spectrum of emotions and Double Betrayal definitely gave me my rainbow of sensations. I think I freaking loved the hero, then wanted to junk-punch him, and then felt sorry for him, and was back to loving him again over the course of like two chapters.

The prologue starts out with eagerness that quickly morphs to heartbreak. And then chapter one shifts gears into steamy hot sexiness. Seriously, I'll never look at a motorcycle the same again after that uber hot scene! Whew! **fanning myself over here!**

I loved the ride Ada Frost took me on...almost as much as the ride Will took Emily on!! If you want a story that will make you tear up with laughter one second and then tear up with heartbreak the next and then ignite your ovaries the second after that, then this is the story for you.

And the heroine: whew, I love Em's brash, catty side as much as I love her soft loveable, maternal side. There's just so much to her! I love all their heartbreaking backgrounds that make everyone react the way they do! It's full of depth and emotion, and has a saucy layer of playful naughtiness drizzled on top!

Plus, Johan (one of my favorite book boyfriends EVER) is in this book, so...enough said! It's awesome!

I can't wait to find out more about Ryan; I already know I'm going to need an entire box of tissues for his story.

5.0 out of 5 stars loved it 30 January 2015

Double Betrayal by Ada Frost is book three of the Surviving Series that can be read as a standalone. It's told in dual POVs with a HEA for the couple, but ends on a cliffhanger for the series.

Emily Richards has known heartache. And at the young age of 18, her world was turned upside down when the love of her life committed the ultimate betrayal. Ever since, she's kept her heart under lock and key. Until him.

"I had once lived a dream and suffered through a nightmare."

Willem Senior left the states after being with the love of his life for 20 years and discovering the entirety of his marriage was a lie. With his heart shredded, he headed for the UK to visit his brother. He never thought he could be happy again with his heart ripped from his chest. Until her.

"I feel like my heart beats with the sole purpose of loving her."

Pasts are exposed. Souls are bared. Hearts break. Love heals. But is it all enough? Can past betrayals be overlooked and forgotten to allow love in?

"This is all of me, for you."

I loved this book so much I don't even know where to begin! Em is sassy, charming, and beautiful. She works hard to provide for Izzy and herself, while still struggling to make ends meet. She thrives off the love of her baby girl, but soon realizes after meeting. Will that maybe, just maybe, she needs the love of another as well. I couldn't help but want to wrap her in a hug and be her best friend. She's charming and witty and I couldn't help but like her.

Will is possessive and loving and oh so hot. He is so sweet and beyond protective of his family. And when he meets Em, then Izzy, that sweetness and protectiveness multiplies tenfold. Leaving him to realize maybe he can love again, and more deeply than before. He is the definition of swoon worthy. The perfect combination, a lethal combination, of dominant, possessive, sweet, and a filthy mouth to boot. Gosh, I fell hard for him.

Together the passion is instant and explosive for Em and Will and they can't seem to get enough of each other. And I couldn't help but hope for their ever after. They love deeply, passionately and fiercely. And they melt your heart along the way. Em and Will make you believe in love, in lust, and in happily ever afters.

Double Betrayal is a heartwarming and heart wrenching story of angst, betrayals, and a love so deep and fast it leaves you breathless. From the prologue I was hooked, line, and sinker. I bubbled with excitement. I cried with heartache. I laughed out loud. I loved wholeheartedly. There wasn't an emotion left unfelt. Each word was a decadent mix of beauty, passion and pain. And let me tell you Double Betrayal is just as steamy as it is beautiful. The lust and passion ignites the pages, melting you on the spot. Keep the tissues, chocolate, and a glass of wine nearby. The tissues for the tears, the chocolate for the heartache, and the wine for the passion.

The beauty, the love, the passion, the pain breathed life into the book because of the beautiful words of Ada Frost. She has this amazing ability to write these beautiful words that make you laugh one minute, having you crying the next, then having you melting because they are so hot. Oh so hot. She knows how to bring the heat and the passion. She knows how to make you swoon, love, and hurt all in the matter of a few pages. It's breathtaking. She takes this story and brings it to life with her words. With her heart and soul that are so clearly poured out and bared on each page. This is a must read!
