Product description
About the Author
We are both writers, actors, singers, raconteurs, husbands and proud Dads. We want to raise awareness of Parental Alienation so that other children do not have to go through what we went through. We deliberately want to leave this Bio short because the last time we wrote about ourselves, we ended up writing an entire memoir called "Don't Hug Your Mother." Please read the memoir to find out everything you could possibly want to know about us, and then some. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Sobbed my way through this book!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 August 2020Verified Purchase
As soon as book came yesterday,I read it all until 1am ,what a coincidence, happened with my 3 sons in same years,my name too Josephine.I tried to save my children from all that Shane, Gareth and Fin were enduring, social services accused me 'that I was a jealous x wife',children at different times had told me bits of things, like ,no food, not allowed to put heating on,left them x 2 weeks at a time alone, not allowed to ring me,etc ect !!,while he the father out drinking and gambling with his then girlfriend. Oh all you young men saw them both for who they really were, mine have no such insight and are now all their 40's. I have lived with the mourning and grief of the loss of my children ,so wonder how your Mam felt on that unification with you all.Your book is a wonderful testament to you all that you saw through their foli-a'duex and pathological parenting style. This book brought me to a place of understanding what happened to my son's, as I could never quite grasp the enormity of their trapped exsistence as yours, the book enlightened me, as I read I sobbed for a lost relationship with my son's.

could not put this book down!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 January 2022Verified Purchase
I could not put this book down. As a reader, I wanted to scream at Gar and Fin and ask them why they could not see what their manipulative father and stepmother were doing but unfortunately we are all manipulated by people like these at some point during our lives whether we realise it or not and hindsight is a wonderful thing. If only we all knew then when we were young, what we know now that we are older! I am so glad that they were able to move on and become well grounded and objective of their situation and also that they reconciled with their real mam and Shane. The bittersweet thing for me is Sean. I hope he eventually realizes that his brothers are good people and see them for what they are - loving family, but I fear he will not - having Caroline and the horrible person that calls himself a father as parents.

Best Book Ever !
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2016Verified Purchase
That is a best book ever that I have read ! Once I have opened the book I couldn't put this book down till the very end. That book would be the one I would keep - If I would ask to choose only one book and get rid of my all another books. That book should be made "The must read in school books list" , and translated to another languages. I have never read anything like that before. Comparing with what the brothers went thru , makes even the Cinderella's childhood better existence. Very brave of the brothers to write that book!

Such a brave set of children fighting against all odds to be reunited with there mum, I wonder if the mental health issues were caused by the heartless father. Well done boys x
