Product Description

When reformed party girl Haven Callahan is given the reins to daddy’s pro hockey team, she discovers veteran player, Jack Nolan, is the one calling the shots...

Thrust into her new role as team owner, Haven strikes a hasty but lucrative trade deal, only to find out her new star forward and the sexy groomsman she hooked up with at a friend’s wedding are one and the same man.

At thirty-two, Jack knows if he’s going to have his chance at the Stanley Cup, it’s now or never. But instead of landing a spot on his dream team, he winds up traded to the last-place Milwaukee Renegades, where he soon finds himself playing to a non-existent fan base in a rundown stadium named after crappy pizza. He’s tempted to hang up his skates, except he’s fought for everything he has and he isn’t about to give up without a fight.

In a sport where men coach, play, and call the shots, Haven struggles to find her footing. Worse yet, she can’t keep her hands off the team merchandise—Jack. With Jack on the team and on her side, the Renegades are soon playing less like middling beer-leaguers and more like a pro-level hockey club.

But Jack and Haven are hiding a dirty little secret, and if the media discovers they’re melting the ice after hours, it's game over.

Drama, emotions, action, sweet and steamy romance that will have you reading till the last word.
Haven and Jack's story is finally here. They don't want a relationship period, in spite of their intense feelings for each other and their chemistry .Although this can be read as a standalone, I would suggest reading the first two books in the series to understand Jack and Haven's behavior and why they are both gun shy of a relationship.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome contemporary stand-alone sports (hockey) romance. 29 December 2016
By Margaret M. McGovern - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Awesome 4.5 stars contemporary sports (hockey) romance. Clearly the author knows how to pull the reader in from the first few pages of this story. Jack loves hockey so much so that it's the only real thing in his life even more than his four brothers. Haven struggles with relationships of any kind and recently left her bartending job. At her friends wedding she meets Jack and has no idea who he is. They have chemistry from the moment before they met until she's suddenly called away. The story covers so many emotions as well as some drama. There are mentions of some issues that may trigger an issue with someone who has suffered abuse but for the most part the story keeps you glued to it. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a. I look forward to reading more books in the future by Ms. Olle especially in the Nolan Brothers series.
5.0 out of 5 stars Hot hockey player, strong woman, a wedding where they met but what happens next, this is a must read in my book 1 January 2017

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book. WOW, that was one spectacular book, so good, in fact, going to get the rest of this series. Jack was one hot hockey player and attended his brother's wedding where he caught sight of a woman across the room which gave him pause. She was Haven, the bride, Emily's roommate in college. He was suddenly drawn to her and just had to see her up close and personal for himself. He saw her sit in a booth at the reception with Emily, then along came the nasty witch who had been dating Emily's new husband and ratted out that she was pregnant and that's why he married her when Haven jumped across the booth and tried to fight the blonde bimbo until Jack showed up, took care of the bimbo and grabbed Haven around the waist to slow her down a bit. She looked up when the blonde left and encountered the most beautiful green/gold eyes she had ever seen, she was totally at a loss for words and slowly sank back into her seat and blushed. Jack asked Emily if she was okay and then asked Haven's name and ambled back to the bar but couldn't get Haven out of his head. And so the story begins, do Haven and Jack leave together, will they have a fling at the wedding and go their separate ways or will something maybe a little more permanent come out of their meeting. This story will plaque you until the very end of the book, you won't be able to put it down, tried to read it all in one day and hated to go to bed only to get up this morning and finish it, it is soooooooo good and the ending is wonderful.
