Dirty Curve Kindle Edition
From USA TODAY & Wall Street Journal bestselling author Meagan Brandy comes an all-new standalone romance set in college about a hotshot pitcher and the girl he never saw coming.
You know how in college there’s that one guy everyone wants to be?
I’m the top dog.
The number one.
The big man on campus.
Some say those things are solid wins.
My new tutor would disagree.
My title means nothing to her.
My status lost on her.
And now my mind? That sucker is stuck on her.
She was told to make our sessions priority over all, to drop everything when I need her, and come to me. She does.
But I don’t want to steal her time anymore.
I want to earn it.
If anyone can do that, it’s me.
I’m Tobias Cruz, the king of the curveball. I don’t lose.
Not the game, and surely not the girl.
Little did I know, this girl has herself a secret … and it’s the dirtiest curve yet.

I only have one gripe that is totally not story related because I loved the story and the characters. Tobias is definitely my favorite. There is something about a man loving a child that isn't his, that makes a him suuuuper attractive.
My gripe was around the amount of typos there was in the book. Hourly someone will fix and update. It just disrupts the flow of the book. I usually tend to help out and report these errors but was too impatient and motored through this book in about 12hours.
2 Star = Didn’t really enjoy it and kind of wishing for that time back.
3 Star = Story was ok but I probably won't read any more in series or it again.
4 Star = Enjoyed story & will definitely pick up next in the series or reread in the future!
5 Star = Absolute gold. Loved it.
Tobias, ugh, such a… guy. All the feels for Tobias Cruz, his character growth was amazing to see, and he’s definitely up there in my book boyfriend list.
And Meyer, sweet, sweet Meyer. I wanted to give the poor girl a drink and a hug.
The curveball near the end, well, didn’t see that coming, blew my mind!
Great read, would give it 10 stars if I could

This beautiful read was an emotional rollercoaster that pulls your emotions and heart in different directions. The twists and turns and how the maij characters are captured is unreal.
"𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 … 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐭."
Tobias Cruz god damn.. he stole my heart and knocked it out the park. The play boy image but his heart of gold will literally leave you swooning in all the best ways.
Tutor Girl. Meyers wow she is a completely mesmerising. Her strength and determination is breathtaking. Meyers faces her own personal matters but damn the instant connections you feel between them is ELECTRIC.
“𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮, ‘𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞, 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥. 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨.”
There lust, passion and chemistry is written in the most romantic way and will leave you lusting and your heart beating fast.
For me the ending is absolutely everything and literally left me squealing in happiness!!
This book was another knock out the park! I couldn't stop reading it.I didn't want to stop reading it but all good things must come to an end.
May have taken a few chapters for me to warm upto Tobias but once I did that was it *swoon* he had me hook, line and sinker. I see his smirk so clearly in my mind aswell as our girl Meyer's blushing. The two together were fire.
I am so glad that Meagan Brandy gave us this book and to think it may have never made it to us makes me appreciate TutorGirl and Playboy Pitchers story that much more.
Thank you for another piece of your soul.
I liked this story, but there were a few things that let it down for me. First, the plot was rather over the top and I questioned so many things about the character’s actions, multiple times. Second, it’s written in a very informal style. This is okay, but it really got on my nerves when I had to re-read sections that didn’t make sense because they were not punctuated properly, or had words missing or used incorrectly. This sort of thing draws me out of the flow of the story and reduces the feels for me.
Ultimately, it was very disappointing because the feels could have been off the charts, and the reason is Tobias Cruz. Tobias is labelled as the playboy pitcher on campus. Now, don’t be put off by his behaviour and attitude in the opening chapters. I’m not going to lie, he is a complete jerk. He is the entitled, college athlete with girls falling at his feet at the click of his fingers. However, there is much more to him than that and as his character grows and changes over the duration of the story, it’s easy to see why Meyer falls in love with him.
Meyer is the cause of many questionable elements of the plot. While it’s easy to admire her hard work and determination as a single mum trying to raise and support a baby while in college, the whole reason she is in that situation is just mind boggling. I’m not going to reveal too much and spoil it, but the author does spin a nice suspense around her situation and it was a bomb, but again it raised more questions rather than making sense.
I think this book could have been great if Meyer had more depth to make it clear why she is in her current situation. I would have felt more empathy for her, were that the case, rather than questioning her actions. Tobias with his change from playboy jerk to loving family man salvages the story somewhat, but a good proofread would help the reader be more immersed in the story.
Tobias and Meyer’s story leaves little breadcrumbs that makes you think “I know where this is going” and then it doesn’t which is refreshing that you can’t tell where it’s headed. You know you’re guaranteed a great and gripping story when it’s a Meagan Brandy book!
