5.0 out of 5 stars UNEXPECTED PLEASURE 30 November 2013

As a 63 y/o grandmother, I mainly downloaded this book for my teenaged grandchildren. After a boring rainy day I decided to read the book myself. Page one had me worried because I hate sports and it started off with a teenager running in a tract meet. Perseverance paid off and soon I was swept away on a journey of mysteries and powers and young love. Outside distractions faded and I was hooked. I read the entire book in one sitting. I wasn't ready for it to end so now I have to read the two follow-up books just to satisfy my own curiosity. I feel the books are ageless even if it focuses on teenagers. I give the book five stars as I thoroughly enjoyed the imagination of the author. Thanks for a delightful afternoon.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good overall! Better if proofed! 15 August 2011

I found this book to be so interesting that I couldn't put it down! I read it straight through in a matter of five hours! I haven't read anything like this and I've read thousands of books! I have one suggestion: if you had this proofread, find someone else to do it after them. The first few mistakes are easy to overlook, but it becomes annoying after the first ten. I would be more than happy to assist you for the mere pleasure of reading another of your wonderful stories.

5.0 out of 5 stars What if........? 8 July 2015

What if you could know the future? What if you did not like what you saw? Would you try to change it so it would come out the way you wanted? What if it was meant to be? This book delves into a lot of these questions and many others that you have probably thought about some time in your life. Such as what I would do if I had some form of super power. This book is very well written and was so enjoyable to read. Hated turning off the kindle to see the dr. Could not wait to get back to reading and seeing what was going to happen next. I highly recommend the book. This is the first in the series and look forward to eventually reading more from this author.

1.0 out of 5 stars No, just no 12 September 2014

I got this for free when it was available to see if I wanted to purchase it and all its fellows. I did enjoy the story, but there were a lot of flaws. My biggest gripe I have is there is a character that has borderline stage four cancer, yet he is walking around and talking to others like it is nothing, but hides his pain (which is a small headache now and again) so no one worries. I can't recommend this book because there are far better one out there. Beside this book infuriates me with its lack of direction and very shallow character develop. Let's put the main character together with the popular boy because she needs a boyfriend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book on the Metaphysical, bordering on reality as we know it. 3 December 2013

I am attracted and intrigued by metaphysics. Lorena managed to create an interesting mystery, adventurous story weaving all the elements of metaphysical properties that the general populace are becoming more accustomed to reading/hearing about. Who knows, maybe these people already exist and Lorena was "channeled" this story to get mankind used to it, so when it becomes public, there will be less fear of that which is not known about.

Thank you Lorena, looking forward to reading the remaining series.
