Another Amazing Read by Laura Landon!

First, I have to say I love Laura Landon stories!!! After reading the first book in her new Traitor's Series a short time ago, I was very pleasantly surprised to see "The Devil's Gift" released! This book, like all her others is packed full of secrets, mystery, and beautiful romance. And the storyline was so different from any I've read before (another reason this author is an automatic buy for me). I loved every minute of Jack and Jenna's story, and don't know if this is a single book, or start of a series, but with the awesome characters she's created, I'd love to see more! Truly amazing read you won't want to miss!

Jenna and Jack

This book featured an awesome, convoluted mystery. The villains were dangerous and wicked. I loved the hero and heroine. They were both strong in their protective roles.
The plot was a bit convoluted out of necessity. It kept the reader guessing and coming up with solutions that weren't quite right. The ultimate resolution was satisfying.
I recommend this book to readers who enjoy a bit of danger and mystery in their romance.

Jenna and Jack make a perfect pair as they try to keep their secrets from hurting their loved ones. The other characters are well written adding spice to this engaging story.
Looking forward to reading many more of your stories

I think it unlikely such a man would be willing to marry the heroine to someone else at the last minute, even if he were a duke. In Victorian times a duke did not have unlimited powers. It was not easy to have a member of the peerage declared insane and private armies were not allowed.
Please do not shorten Sir Josiah Kennedy to anything except Sir Josiah, Sir Kennedy makes one wince.
Peach pie would have been very exotic and expensive whereas apples, pears and plums occurred in abundance.
