Love this authors way of writing a story, it is meant to be a romance but it is in fact a mystery, with drama, murder, intrigue & Love. What a way to win someone's heart, by first solving the mystery & intrigue, plus the comedy from Dev's wit. Leonie a Diplomats daughter is the image of Deverell's Obsession, but that is not what brings her to Dev's attention. No! it's the ladies who find here unconscious by the wharf with a bump on her head, and Dev's name on a note she has sewn into her dress collar. A great story, an interesting journey, & fun.

A very weak storyline with no depth. The two 'erotic' scenes towards the end of the book added nothing to the overall narative and seemed to have been added to justify the term 'risque'. Shame really as the synopsis was promising.
