These were a gift for my friend. I opened them first to ensure no colors were duplicated. The colors aren’t listed in the description. I think that’s important to know, especially when it’s $50 to order the whole set. Of the 24 colors, 5 of them are white, light, medium and dark. You can buy those anywhere. I think that’s a cop out. So in actuality, you get 20 “tinted color” charcoal pencils.
That said, I tested them and didn’t think they were worth the price. I think pastels work much better, are more vibrant, cheaper and come in a greater range of colors. These are muted; however if you like a faded, antique look. I would not purchase them again. My preference though they seem to work for others.
Sand, burnt orange, sunset pink, glowing embers, Heather mist, burnt embers, lavender, thistle, bilberry, elderberry, mountain blue, ocean deep, slate, forest pine, green moss, dark moss, driftwood, peat, burnt earth, natural, white, light, medium, dark.
Tinted Charcoal offers the dramatic beauty of charcoal pencils with a gentle hint of colour.
