Holy hell what an epic book by the very talented KA Knight! I was intrigued when I first read about this book, not really knowing what to expect t what she has given is an intense story from a dark and dangerous world! The characters are so brilliantly developed...you can feel their pain, suffering, loneliness and love through the pages.

Roxy is now my new favourite FMC...she is completely crazy, bada$$ and dangerous. She is nothing that that you would expect and as soon as you start reading her story you become 100% invested and engrossed. Then you meet the guys...holy hotness these are some dangerous and insane men. Initially I did not know what to think, they are not your usual cute and cuddly type, they are deadly and unpredictable. Ryker...loves control, the leader but I think the most deadly. Diesel “D”...the favourite but it is 100% crazy dangerous, but what a perfect fit for Roxy. Kenzo hides his intentions with a smile but is just as deadly as his brother, but he becomes completely soft with Roxy. Then finally Garrett...he is scared and intense definitely not one you want to meet alone! They are all complex and scared characters that connect on that deeper level that make them a family...a dangerous and crazy family that will kill before thinking!

Ok so this book will not be for everyone...there are difficult scenes that some readers will not like but underneath it all is the grit and danger, characters that are captivating, a huge book with a story that has you not wanting to put it down. Read it with an open mind and watch 5 broken characters connect and kill for each other. Highly recommended!

This book was recommended by a Facebook group, and I am so pleased I read it. It is RH, and you can see the different relationships which Roxy has with each of the Vipers individually, and how she strengthens the relationships between them.

It was great to have such a strong female main character; it is clear from the start that she is is totally on their wavelength, and it was inspiring to see how she knew herself and recognised what she wanted without chapters of flip-flopping.

Dark, and awesome! Totally recommend.

I fell in love with these deeply scarred, troubled, dark and dangerous men as they took the beautiful, brave, pissed-off Roxy and painted their city red! This is NOT a book to be read lightly, it is a very dark, violent and twisted love story. Highly highly recommended - I bloody loved it!
