Hotness + Sci-Fi + Action/Adventure + Suspense = Dekkir

This book was incredibly well-written. The story flowed smoothly and I was on the edge of my seat for most of the book, dying to know what happened next!

Equal parts sci-fi romance, suspense, action/adventure, and smoking hotness, all balanced perfectly throughout. Add to that some plot twists I never saw coming and I got one heck of a story!

"Finding true mates" is a favorite topic of mine, and this was certainly one of those stories! But, this was unlike any I have read because Grace wanted absolutely nothing to do with Dekkir! (She was pretty funny about it, too) This unexpected element of outright rejection really made this book stand out.

The ending was fantastic, a HUGE Happily Ever After, and I hope I get to catch up with Grace and Dekkir in subsequent books.

I am 100% on board with Lara and this series, and I'm ANXIOUSLY awaiting the next book!!!

(I received a copy of this book in consideration for an honest review)

Wow loved this book, what a totally new and original story. This is the first book I have read by this author, but I will be looking for more as she has a real gift for story telling, wonderful characters and smoothly flowing plot. Dekkir and Grace were realistic and amazing.
I volunteer to read an ARC of this book and chose to leave a review so that everyone else would know how awesome it was.

Really well written, an original storyline and action right from the opening chapter... Grace and Dekkir a very believable and likeable couple..I enjoyed the conflict needed to drive the story, The bad guy was nasty enough to be effective and the story concluded well...
It even left an opening for more books!

This book was so bad... and environmentally friendly 😯. It just kept getting worse and worse > and kept repeating the narrative that was just covered. I skipped most of the end of the book. Do yourself a favor and skip this mess 😦.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dekkar 28 October 2016

This story was one I thoroughly enjoyed and could even see evolving before my eyes. I loved the interaction between Dekkar, war chief, and Grace, an anthropologist. I liked how the author wove a story of jealousy and love and the pettiness of the human male when he is not given what he considers his due. I loved Dekkar because of his strength not only of the physical but also the mind/emotions. His love for Grace shines through and eventually opens her open to what she couldn't see.
This is a great story that you can't help but fall in love with the characters. You will laugh, get angry and cry as the storyline unfolds.

I purchased this book an this is my volunteer only giving review.

I enjoyed this books because the relationship between the female lead character and the mail character was so dynamic it has so many layers to look into and the reflected how when a person thinks they're not loved how it could negatively affect the help I got the relationship with that through the dynamics. What I like about it was the fact that she found a way to make a change so they both can be happy and feel what they needed to feel I know what they needed to know about each other this was a good good book it's going to go on my top shelf I highly recommend this book because every reader can

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written, adventurous, sexy aliens!!! 29 October 2016

I really enjoyed reading this! I've been on a scifi romance kick for the last year. Believe me, I've read some horribly written novels! This one had very good character development, adventure, twists, betrayal, torn loyalties, and pretty good sex. It was also edited well. I really hate when the book is chock full of misspellings and grammatical errors. I'm looking forward to reading #2 in the series. This is the first book I have pre-read and reviewed, super excited about it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay story 20 December 2016

The story needs a little editing as there were spilled and wrong words used. Decent story. Felt a little easy for Grace and Dekkir. Not bad.
