Nice, cheap and effective solution to limited fan headers

What does it do? It allows you to route power from one 4 pin fan header on your motherboard to up to 4 3pin or 4 pin fans on your chassis/case. This is ideal if you have 3 intake fans and an exhaust. I don't believe that this will intelligently control the speed of 3 pin fans but perhaps someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The packaging is ideal for what it is and the build seems adequate quality, having a plastic shield to prevent any grounding of live pins on the case.

installation really is as smoke as plugging the cable into a spare fan header on the motherboard and then routing the fan cables to plug into the unit. It looks like it will send back the fan speed of the first fan to the motherboard (which will then warn you if this fan fails) but I don't think it measures the health of the other three fans.

For my personal build, I used the Corsair Commander Pro which gives you full control over fan speeds of up to six fans but that is along 10x the price of this hub making this ideal for budget builds.

Lovely small little thing which does exactly what you would expect. Allows for 4 fans on one header, all controlled. Just make sure you use a own fan on 1 and a own header.

Easy to tuck in the back panel of a case, and comes with some tape to mount securely.
