I'm studying short stories right now, and Parnell Hall is one of my favorite writers,
so it was kismet, if you'll pardon the hyperbole. Since this is a short story, there's
not a lot of room for extra characters to clutter the place up, which is a plus.
Just a nice little story of a detective, a girl and a vampire.
Stanley Hastings couldn't believe it. The girl wanted him to follow a vampire! It had to be a joke. To Stanley's surprise, it turned out to be deadly serious.
